  1. Sooooo.... any more details as to what time and where we are gonna start from??
  2. Yes please come! I'd love to see a series 8 in the flesh!!!
  3. 1st November suits me better anyway cause I'm moving house this weekend and I might have my tyres on by then too
  4. First of all, the pommy commentators gave me the shits something fierce during that race. Second of all, go Webs! Honestly though, how many world champs in the last few years haven't had the BEST car in the field and most of the luck? Jenson did nothing for the latter part of the year, but was good enough ( and lucky enough) in the early part of the season to accumulate enough points to hold on. Kovi the hack needs to be gone - asap. Hammo as much as I dislike him, is a damn talented driver IMO but still only won his WDC because his car was the BEST that season. I really dislike anyone comparing Hammo, Alonso, or any of the current drivers the Schuey. He proved himself over a career to be the best. He even managed to stick it up the McLarens when Mika's car was a league ahead of the pack. From what I've seen of Alonso, Hammo, Button or any of them, they are very good drivers when the car is good, but when the car is not so good the results don't seem to be there. My 2c.
  5. True, but I'd be pissed if I was promised parts by Tuesday and 2 days after that, Aus post still hadn't even seen them.
  6. Lol that vid was gold. I hear ya though Rowan. It's something that is in the blood I think. For the money I have spent on my car I could have bought a pretty much brand new SS or similar, but the thought never even crossed my mind. I think the only thing I would ever sell my car for, is a GTR. My GF gives me shit quite regularly about how much I 'love' my car. But I don't care. It's mine, and I love driving it and owning it. Even my bike is Japanese! Lol!
  7. I'd be doing the rest of the exhaust first, but that's just me.
  8. User name - Bourkey
  9. I live about an hour out of Brissie and some of the roads out here are atrocious. Unsealed shoulders, potholes, large bumps where the council's quick-fix's have been run over by trucks all day long. I used to ride about 50km each way to work and back (on some pretty busy roads I might add) and they are unsafe on a bike at night. It doesn't really seem fair, especially after the last rego increase, and all the dollars that are made through fuel tax's etc.
  10. I am probably going to go with just lower springs rather than going all out for coil overs. I only want to drop it a little bit, my bottom cooler pipe runs pretty low under the core (I have a just jap stealth kit) so going too low is not going to be practical anyway. Speaking of coil overs though, I do have a second hand set lying around that I wanna get rid of. The rear ones were knocking when I had em in the car and it was driving me mad so I swapped em back out for the stockies. Does anyone know of somewhere that might be able to re-build or gas them (whatever it is they do lol)
  11. Yeah there was a noticeable difference after I had it tuned and had the power fc put in. Mind you after buying it and paying for the tune it cost me a bit over 2k lol. I wanna lower mine, I just can't justify forking out that much cash for coilovers atm!
  12. Lol neville your 4 years too late.
  13. Yeah you're not wrong there! I need to do my clutch first though, nopoint going for more power if it can't even make it to the gearbox haha. AFM, fuel and ignition will be next. Followed by a turbo upgrade What have you done to yours?
  14. Bugger all hey, 3" turbo back, fmic, greddy bspec 2, power fc. that's about it. More to come though!
  15. Dan, what front bar is that on ur 34? On topic, I haven't used anyone on the coast for tuning, I went to Godzilla based on his excellent rep on here. He does great work. Oh and Brad, what's the go with the cruise ya slack f**ka
  16. Sweet, now I just need to choose a colour! haha
  17. What kind of paint is that Ben, it looks great!
  18. Lol hang on Will. Where's our invite! hahaha
  19. Birds has said it perfectly. Just ride like everyone is out to kill you. Stay clear when you can and restrict your enthusiasm to somewhere there is no cars. I have had a fair few near misses, and one that drove me off the road. I was lucky enough to stay upright, although I fractured my foot which still gives me a little bit of grief from time to time. Every day I see people that drive through round-a-bouts without looking, let alone giving way. A LOT of people don't use indicators, don't stop at red lights, and pretty much just don't care about you on your bike. But if you are alert and cautious you can give yourself every chance of avoiding an accident. I am going to go to QR for a track day when I can too. I want to be more aware of my limits and also the bike's. (Not that I'll get near that haha)
  20. Yeah, I listened to it.
  21. From what I've read I'm assuming it's Shell V power ( The 100 octane one, I may be wrong though!) as it's the only high octane e10 blend that I know of. And that's the reason I only run BP ultimate. I really hope everything works out though mate and the servo pays for any repairs to both your cars.
  22. Sunday arvo's are good, I was also thinking about an early morning cruise (preferably a Saturday)....but I'm not too sure how some of you guys feel about early mornings haha.
  23. Meh I could sit here and link 100 video's of better sounding cars.... Not that it sounds bad though
  24. Just after some prices for any 235/45/17 you have in stock + postage to 4519. Cheers
  25. Firstly, I think you both are making very valid points and backing them up accordingly, but this kinda stuff irritates me a little... You do realise the 6 & 7 are right next to each other on the keyboard and that 6.8 was quite possibly meant to say 7.8? And from the reading I have done I don't think Gary says he thinks the rotary fires 3.9L of air for each shaft revolution, but for each rotor revolution (counting both rotors). You make some great points and I enjoy reading posts from both side of the argument, but to me these kinds of remarks cheapen the rest of your post. Just my opinion.
