  1. Yep sounds good. Brad can organise it yeah? lol. What day do you guys prefer? Saturday/Sunday? For me if it's Sunday it needs to be in the afternoon. Saturday is Better though I'd also be keen for a night cruise. I'm not really much into the mooloolaba scene etc, I would rather go up through the hills, but whatever the masses prefer! haha
  2. Hi, chasing a price for 2 x 235/45/17 in KU31 if possible or if not, for the KU36 posted to 4519. cheers.
  3. Glock's accident was bizarre to say the least! Surely there was some kind of mechanical failure??
  4. Also try not to ride side by side with traffic IF you can avoid it.

    Friday Night

D'Bay needs all the cops it can get lol The RX-7 isn't red is it? I used to live up that way a couple of years back..... unfortunately! hahaha
  6. James, tomorrow I'd be up for a run if it's in the afternoon. Anyone else keen??
  7. I dead set near wet myself reading that LOL
  8. EPIC thread, and a great read over the last few pages. Some of you guys sure know your shit. Hats off to you and I am much the wiser for having read your posts.
  9. Mate, a lot of that makes perfect sense to me and helped me figure out a few things I was still trying to get my head around. Good post!
  10. He said it. Apparently a Puerto Rican holding a 13b can run a 1/4 mile in 6 seconds.
  11. Porsche's are brilliant to drive IMO. I have driven pretty much all kinds of the 993/996 models, and some of the 997 911's. The boxster's though are just kinda gay. The cayman goes well, but doesn't deserve a mention in a thread with this heading, and the same story with the Cayenne. Working with and around guys that had been working on porsche's since the 80's though, I came to the conclusion that they all preferred the way the old 911's drove. "You steered with you right foot as much, if not more than the steering wheel" is one thing I remember being said. The design though is something I believe you either love, or hate. As far as I am aware, Porsche survey current owner's and club members of what they want to see on the future design of the 911. The same shape has been kept for a long, long time and it's not by accident. Obviously there are people out there, and a lot of them, that love it. Oh and 997 GT3 = sexual.
  12. LOL. I wasn't talking to you.
  13. LOL. Now that I do pretty much agree with.
  14. ^^ Agreed. There has been enough argument from every side with plenty of info provided for everyone to make their own conclusions. Edit - Was agreeing with GT-R32..... Firstly LOL at the bike hater. Is that because they aren't rotary powered? Or cause it's faster than the RX7...... I don't doubt what your saying is true Paragon. But it was never my argument that different categories should be raced against each other. IMO rotaries are in a different category to Piston engines yet they compete against each other don't they? Just because they are both in cars doesn't make them the same. And I don't really give a shit if a 2J is running 6's in whatever and a RB26 is doing 7's in a 32, since this thread is not about extremely modified dragsters anyway. We were talking about principles and operation of rotaries vs pistons. I used stock road going versions of both and got flamed for it. If Mazda can lie about capacity and everything else, then I can compare a bike to a car to prove a point
  15. Just watching the replay on One now. I'm rather pissed at the decision to penalise Webs yet agan. Wtf is wrong with going the LONG way round someone? Yet to see his brakes explode....
  16. No it isn't. My cbr is a road going registered vehicle. How is that like comparing to a jump jet or a pro drag bike? I was only debating the "rotaries can do 6's and RB's can't" statement. Neither of them can, its the entire vehicle that does the time. I fairly compared a stock 0.6L piston engine to a stock 3.9L rotary, so what's wrong with that comparison to make my point?
  17. I would love a Dr Pepper right now! I haven't even thought about that stuff in years. I think i used to drink 3 a day in high school lol.
  18. Oh, and LOL at that!
  19. Bikes or cars it is irrelevant. The point was it is not the engine that runs the 1/4. It is the complete package. So sorry if you didn't like my comparison of a stock 0.6L piston engine to a 3.9L wankel, or just have some problem with bikes, but my point is valid.
  20. I believe Honda quote something like 11.1 off the showroom floor for my vehicle with a 0.6L piston engine in it. Yes that's because it is a bike, but yes it is relevant because the arguments I've seen on here are saying that a rotary can run 6's so why can't an RB. What a load of shit. An engine doesn't run anything down the 1/4. The whole package does. So in my case, a very light vehicle, very small yet high revving and quite powerful engine delivers a pretty impressive 1/4 mile time without modification. And if you get a 1L or 1.2L version they can run 9's out of the factory with next to no modification. Where's the rotary that can do that? So this "Rotatries run 6's" crap i just that, crap.
  21. Yeah I had a ball going up through the hills But more importantly, when is the next one!
  22. I for one know a heap more than I did before this thread started thanks to some of the great posts by a few of you guys!
  23. Or Couthard oh no, he lost it IN the pit lane.... lol
  24. Hi mate, are these still for sale at all? And are you interested in selling the rubber without the rims??
