  1. Geez I wonder if it's like that up here in QLD?? If so I'd be trading mine in tomoz lol.
  2. Wow, $1900? They must be getting rare....
  3. Dude that sucks! So will she be driving it again? lol
  4. 32psi is not a mechanics tale... most mechanics will tell you to set your pressures to more like 36ish, depending on the car/tyre. Don't necessarily follow the tyre placard as they are usually settings that achieve best comfort rather than best performance. (Although this isn't always the case) I run my pressures (stock 17" rims) at 40psi. The best thing to do is monitor the way the tyre is wearing. If the outside edges are wearing more rapidly than the centre, your pressures are too low, and vice versa. Keep in mind there are other factors that can influence tyre wear though, such as wheel alignment, driver, etc...
  5. I'm in the same boat mate. It's a bit different up here in QLD I think (will be the same as of July 1) but I'm restricted to a 250 for another 3 1/2 months or so. I would love to go and buy an R6 or something but don't want to risk losing my license!! Guess I'm stuck on my 250 for the time being!!
  6. Gday mate, I just had to replace the battery in my 34. It takes a 380cca. I got mine from battery world. Its a super charge, part number is MF40B20L. Hope that helps.
  7. G'day mate, I have just basic mods on my 34 but also with a power fc. I put on a JJR stealth cooler and noticed the improvement immediately. Mid range is much better and the most noticeable. I know it's not a 33 but thought it might be the kinda answer you're looking for.
  8. Wow, you're much more trusting with your car than I am! Noone else drives mine
  9. Haha, yeah they are all long gone!
  10. Yeah I know what you're saying mate, but it kinda defeats the purpose of having a stealth front mount.... How much difference would it really make to relocate the number plate anyway? Thanks for all the replies guys
  11. LOL @ this thread
  12. Gee I hope all GTR owners don't have an attitude like this. If so I don't ever want one. Oh and GTT looks more aggressive than a 33 gtr IMO. On subject though, I went manual simply because I just didn't want an auto turbo skyline. In saying that I don't live in the city and am rarely in a lot of traffic. It just comes down to personal preference and what you want. But if you get a GTR, make it a 32 (not 33 ) and don't turn into a non GTR hater will ya? lol
  13. Whats wrong with GT-T's?
  14. Bump, still for sale.
  15. Yeah good advice that ^^^ Mine's locked away every night where noone can find it It might be a good idea to leave the cruise for a couple of weeks until the cops have eased up after easter too. Don't you love the fact that we can't even feel free to drive our cars without being harassed any more? Good free country we live in here!
  16. Morning all! Jamie, nah I don't know who owns the black 33, but I do see it around here and there. I haven't seen the older couple in a white one tho lol! That law is stupid about passengers after whatever time it is. I've been off my P's for years but I still hate it and don't see the point in it. All it does is make 2 or more cars go out instead of 1. Yeah that's gonna discourage 'hooning'! Also the other solution is to get a damn maccas out here!!!
  17. This has absolutely amazed me. I can't believe the reply emails that have been sent from those twits. What chance do we have of any sort of fairness when the tosser who runs the show actually believes the crap they show? Maybe we need to find a way of broadcasting some of the ridiculous replies these idiots have sent.... And like so many people have said, I'm so sick and tired of being labeled a hoon just because of the car I drive.
  18. Have you guys seen the EFI performance cruise & dyno day on the 2nd May? I'm going to tag along, anyone else keen??
  19. Yeah the highways don't worry me at all any more, except in the pissing rain... That's not fun! I'm selling mine atm so I can buy a cbr600 or similar. If you know anyone interested let me know!!
  20. G'day guys, count me in + dyno thanks. Should be a good day!!
  21. Yeah mate, I just have a vtr250 for the moment. Im still on my 250 restricted licence until July i think it is. The winding roads are still great fun tho! How bout you, what do you ride?
  22. I don't really mind where, but friday or saturday are best for me. Could only do it Sunday if it was in the arvo. This weekend probably wouldn't be best anyway, it's meant to be raining I think! Not trying to get out of driving too far, but there are some beaut roads out here (Peachester, Maleny, Montville etc) i like to ride, would be good in the car too! Could head up Peachester range, along bald knob road, up to Maleny and towards Montville. There is a great little road that goes from Montville down towards Palmwoods too. Just throwing it out there!!
  23. Webber may have been a bit ragged at times but he was getting the job done much better than some of the so called 'fast' guys. Ie Hamo and Rubens who did manage to go off! My big LOL was for Heidfeld though, he was struggling huge and pulled off second. Also don't forget Vettel was 10kg lighter than MW when he qualified 2 spots higher as well...Agreed though that the penalty was total BS!
  24. That race, albeit short, had a few of the best things I've seen in ages in it. Webber and Lewis fighting for position, not mark getting lapped. Kimi eating his ice cream, and that fantastic radio convo with massa and his engineer. LOL i cracked it at that! I think Webber showed how good he can be and I can't wait for round 3!!
  25. Are you serious? I've never been in a supra, but I can't Imagine having less room in the back then there is in my R34! lol
