It's a bit disappointing that we can't get the numbers we need guys. Seems theres a lot of people who won't put their money where their mouth is! lol I just hope it goes ahead! I'm really looking forward to it!!

Ok, so I read the first page and then got too lazy to read on with any more bitching... so thought I'd my 2c Honestly, I dont even guage my judgement of cars on performance anymore. Pretty much every make out there has got some form of 300+kw beast. So pretty much it comes down to looks, reliability and whether or not you wanna be driving around in something that 10 million other people are driving around in. When I bought my skyline (its 10 years old) I had it up in the air and had a good look at everything. It was dry as a bone and bushes etc all in great nick. All still original too. How many original 10 year old commodores are like that? None that I have seen. My parents drive around in a VT (same year model as my line) and it has had the best possible life. Serviced frequently since new, never been thrashed and it still pisses oil from every place possible. Not to mention the depreciation on those things!!! I have worked on Fords, Holdens, Mercs, Porsche, and every other shitbox going around.... And It's always the Jap cars that kick ass with build quality and value for money. I've changed more rear main oil seals on 911's and Boxsters than I have on Jap cars combined. And the porsche's have been done WELL before 100k. Well thats my rant and opinion lol. Everyone is entitled to one and noone should bag out someone else for having it!

I run about 40psi front and rear in my 235/45r17's. But I also do a lot of highway driving. I find that if you keep an eye on your tyre wear you will be able to tell if the pressures you are running are too high or low. Then you can simply alter it accordingly. However if its purely grip that you want then all of this probably wont help you lol. I'm just more interested in tyre life as I don't drive like I'm on a race track all the time!

Jase is fine mate lol. The drag day is on the 20th December, and yeah its in the events section I've seen a lot of cops around lately too, more so when I'm on my bike, probably cause I'm on it a lot more than I'm in the car lol. Most of the cops I've come across have been pretty cool tho I must admit. Can't wait for the drag day first one ever!!

+1 for XR6 turbo. A mate of mine had one and it was a great car. Bugger all mods and had plenty of go in it. But stock they are not too bad on fuel either. But if you're not bogan enough for a commy, then im guessing the coon is a no go too lol.
