Hey guys, im selling my daily driver as I've replaced it with a bike. So basically.... Its an AE101, 1997, 1.6 litre corolla. 5 speed manual and done 210,000km. Its got 15" alloys, been lowered an unknown amount, CD player, A/C etc... I bought it as it is now and have had it for about 4 years. Ive never had a drama with it, just serviced it as it needs it. Im looking for around $5500 for it. I live in Landsborough and my number is 0433245185. If ya want any more info feel free to call or text! Cheers guys! Also I will be selling it with a R/W cert and it still has 6 or 7 months rego on it.

Are you sure? As far as I know the R33 and R34 power fc's are different. Just something to watch out for...

Spotted a few Skylines out and about on the sunny coast today (couple off 33's and a 32). Was a great day to go for a drive! Lets hope we get plenty more days like this!

Spotted about 5 R33's today, all black, from currimundi way up to mooloolaba. Was on my bike.

Those are the 2 cars I was making my choice from, and I went with the R34. Very happy indeed! As for fuel consumption, I have 180rwkw and get about 500-550km out of a tank or there abouts so imo not too bad. And the R34 just shits all over the silvia looks wise as well lol All in all Im sure you would enjoy either car. RB FTW!

I had my car tuned with a power fc and a profec b spec boost controller. I dont get a lot of boost drop (no more than 1-2 psi) tuned at 12psi. I have only done the exhaust (3" turbo back), the intercooler is still standard along with everything else. Made 180rwkw. I originally thought it was tuned to 10psi but later realised it was dropping to around 10 from 12 lol. Im happy tho as it is well into its peak power by just before 5k and holds pretty well until redline.

So Ive just recently got my bike licence and am keen to go out on a few rides. Just wondering if any of you who live up the sunshine coast or somewhere near there have any regular places that you like to go riding?

Nah it's definately mild steel. I'm not going to lose sleep over it, but it's the principal of the thing! lol I'll see how I go I guess. And yeah I've learned a valuable lesson, check EVERYTHING that gets done! Cheers for all the replies

Caloundra Exhaust

Yeah the thing is... The exhaust was fitted by the shop....not the owner. With warranty etc. So as far as it not being the responsibility of the shop, i beg to differ. And couldnt be f**ked bending over? Shouldnt I be entitled to believe I have been sold what I paid for? The last part of the piping (after the resonator) to the rear of the car is s/s. So the part I can see......IS stainless. Its the other 3/4 of the piping that I cant see that is mild steel.

Yeah the invoice says s/s cat, muffler and pipework. He only charged me $1100 as I payed cash, and had been referred to him by a mate of mine. The price was pretty damn good imo, but I asked for stainless, he quoted me stainless and according to my invoice I payed for stainless... Yeah, a few people have said something along those lines so I will give them a call and see how I go. Thanks for the replies guys!

Hey guys I wasnt too sure where to post this but anyway here's my problem... I had a 3" turbo back system fitted to my R34 a few months back. The bloke assured me that stainless was the best way to go and he quoted me what I thort was a great price after I told him I had been referred to him by a mate of mine who had previosly had work done by his shop. So I booked in and got it all done..... Now I found out from my mechanic that all the piping in the system is mild steel except for the last bit of piping after the resonator. Not Happy!! I went down to the exhaust shop only to find that it has been sold ad the new owner doesn't wanna know about it. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what i should do, or if there is even anything I can do?
