  1. Good spotting Ravi! Close to my condo too.
  2. With a bit of guard massage, 18x9 +15 can also fit this... Just a few mm in it. Just need 1.5 pitch nuts.
  3. Glad to help you later on to procure a GTR with open-book history... but what city do you live in? > Profile > Location:.....
  4. Tried the Queensland Forum Angus? Welcome btw
  5. Just chuck them in the bin Simon! ...and where does your bin reside?
  6. Ta heaps. Will seek.
  7. Troy, in Events section there's (or will be)... 1) 9/6/14 SAU.NSW Texikhana (Mon holiday) 2) 26/7/14 SAU.NSW Members Only Tech Arvo (Sat) 3) 16/8/14 SAU.NSW Celebration of the BNR32 25th (Sat) 4) September Racing at SMSP. So join up!
  8. Thanks! More info and accolades the better! I'd like to know what role Ron Tauranac had to play as well? He was asked to join Sir Jack in Europe eh?
  9. Absolutely! And Ron his codesigner of the brilliant rear engine is in failing health too I think.
  10. Thanks PJ for great input
  11. Congrats Dan.
  12. After the haggling, wait until the end of the month when their figures are somewhat urgent. Then pounce.
  13. PM "PLYNX" then Rob. Pete made these up for me from scratch. He's a whizz. The Nismo sticker was procured from Just Jap.
  14. Any rust Jimmy? Got pics of the onside & engine bay? Who was the importer? Any de-reg?
  15. This one Steve had that type - a sprung number plate bracket that tucked underneath as one sped along - available in Japan. Otherwise M6 bolts + spacer sleeves, from Bunnings will suffice.
  16. Congratulations. Coming along to official SAU.NSW events? You're welcome!
  17. ^^ Certainly is!
  18. At the SAU.NSW Tech Arvo at Syriops Engineers, about 30 Members present were generous enough to donate around $300 to Bowel Cancer Aust. I don't know the exact amount because it's still stuck in a tin that'll be opened by NYTSKY (Dave and his partner Anneke) > Bowel Cancer Aust. Congrats heaps to the Members who dug deep - really deep!
  19. Jai Taurima, Australia's silver medallist at the Sydney Olympic Games, had a daughter Indie Rose. Jai and his partner Jen have just lost Indie Rose to acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She has died just a couple of days before her third birthday 22nd May. Further research on leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma (all related cancers) is ongoing.
  20. Melanoma (the most dangerous form of skin cancer) is making news. Treatment:- Experimental drug by Merk labelled MK437 is causing advanced melanoma to shrink just about completely in approximately 50% of patients in a study. More of this drug is being requested to treat a larger sample of people whilst they don't have long to live as it is. Preventative:- Still it's best to consider frequent application of the highest SP rated sunscreens, large brimmed hats, taking melatonin lozenges 5mg or higher each day, exposure to the sun to be minimised to morning and afternoons only for a maximum of an hour if you have fair skin or freckled skin.
  21. Dual tasking is my limit
  22. You'd really want to know off the auction sheet what "R" (for repaired) really means!
  23. No-one else ended up inviting non-members. And as Birds and Joeyejoeyababbledoodledo would want to say, "we're being exclusive!"
  24. Defect station looked this over on Friday. I believe the engineer and coppers admired it.
