Yes the S/S lasts forever. An interesting sideline is that where any sensor screws in, it's best not to use an aluminium washer. In the end result of a chemical reaction, the aluminium loses and corrodes (albeit slowly); although there are different grades of S/S and also of aluminium, usually designated by 3 digit numbers.

So what about a different set of coilovers with a slimmer spring/housing setup?

Flow rate check showed up 40% down at Unigroup Eng. > took it back to Just Jap for warranty > Just Jap sent it off to Bosch Melbourne > They said it was OK > sent it back to Just Jap > Just Jap offered it back to me but it wasn't the same pump, because it didn't have the same texta "TT" that I put on it!!!!! > Complained to Bosch Czechoslovakia > Heard nothing
