  1. Thanks guys for great company and of course the pics!
  2. Lol Car has been found. I have to feel sorry for the car. On the surface it looks undamaged, but underneath...; and the thieves gave her a thrashing. Engineer has a list of...
  3. 1) Going up Mac Pass in the lead car, being slowed down was a pain. But I'd slow down to a crawl quite often and then do squirts. If that message didn't filter back through the pack, would you guys like this system to be conveyed at any future briefings? 2) Going down Jamberoo Pass after lunch, the traffic was just as bad but decided that Swamp Rd would be worth the wait and remained patient instead of overtaking only to be caught by radar on straight stretches. This Jamberoo Mountain Rd has now been upgraded with new hotmix tar. It's worth a revisit. 3) Swamp Rd. After going through Jamberoo township, (rather than go back through Albion Pk), there's Swamp Rd on the left (on the road to Kiama). It's worth the run. You can let your car out along there. A combination of straight stretches through farmland interspersed with 25Km right angle turns in 2nd gear followed by more straights. The shoulders are sharp and you need to watch your line. At the northern end, some off camber sweepers are a great test for car and driver. It's just as enjoyable as the two Passes.
  4. This car has been orphaned 4 times!!! And she has still done less than 60,000Kms!!! She never asked for or deserved such treatment!!! After all, she was serviced in Japan by Nissan!!! Now she has a long term owner in Michael!!! So, now I feel better!!! My guilt has been absolved as well!!!
  5. Highly contagious "bird flu" is in northern Australia. That won't take long to come down south.
  6. Yes Ravi, For dessert, cherry pies are yum. Just have to be watchful for the stray seed > dentist visit - not.
  7. Stolen Black R33 GT-R Charlie GeeTr asked if I can post up details of his stolen GTR on the night of 23rd June (last night). * Black R33 GTR * Reg DJH48C * Gold Face2 GTC Wheels * Front Series 3 Bar and Lip * Stolen from Merrylands
  8. What's the cost difference? Done the maths (thinking that the guard is fixable)?
  9. Ah well... It just so happens that in 2002, my very first GT-R was a midnight purple R33. And my most recent GT-R in 2016 is a cloud white R33. Hehe...
  10. PM Anfanee (here on SAU)
  11. With the 34R, there was a definite figure thrown at me. It was quite reasonable for the year 2017 and equivalent to what the Chinese have been prepared to pay in order to get this type of car initially through HK. With the 32R, the two offers were not in dollar terms - only that these two guys be contacted should the car come up f/s. Well there we have it! What goes on at a Festival!
  12. I received another offer on my 34R as well as two on the 32R, discussed during the GT-R FESTIVAL. No-one on the 33R. Hmmm...
  13. I hope that the buyer is happy.
  14. The seller knew part of the story I believe but didn't wish to investigate the rest.
