  1. yup !! Worth getting the DVD on how this was made... I don't think "Against All Odds" has been mentioned yet. Woods in a 911 Vs J Bridges the Maranello man
  2. Are there Japanese spotters Kristian on the lookout for rare items?
  3. Yes that's a standout!
  4. Attracts my attention
  5. Gypsy - and my mothers (who are all liars) tell me that I'm not from 2165, 2148, 2153, 2502, 2170, 2190, 2154, 2560, 2750, 2168, 2763 or 2577 I felt compelled to post because in some ways, I look a bit like all of you!!! (and I never lie)
  6. That section has needed to be smoothed out!
  7. There's a steep driveway at my Mum's place which would abrade low lips like nobody's business at the bottom concave section. Then I installed a rubber speed hump set. It took half an hour to get the positioning just right & then the masonry bolts went in. The lower lip only faintly brushes the rubber hump now
  8. Ballpark figure of $500 for a Respray Has the bonnet been painted before albeit in an amateurish way? It's a wonder that the front bar doesn't need a spray too eh?
  9. Will your elderly (& deaf) next door neighbours allow you to park on their property (& you supplement their pension @ $3/wk)?
  10. It's the rolling diameter that's important so as to not burn out the transfer case. Rim width can vary but on a GTR, people will normally have the same widths all round Richard.
  11. Lay-by update "J" 9 months to go
  12. Can I ask what part of W. Sydney you're in? Members here have recommended servicing places at Haberfield, Wetherill Pk, Penrith and Blackheath. Members here have vouched for tuning places at Marrickville and Girraween. They do servicing too but the rates are higher. Whatever oil is used for an oil change, obtain the same oil (or at least the same type) for topping up. You'll find the places you're after in the NSW subforum. This thread will probably be moved across to there.
  13. BOC has been stockpiling...
  14. Nice find "G"
  15. Nothing forthcoming, so I'll drop this request > communication pfft
  16. That's a bummer. Yes, call Daniel & reserve stock of R134a gas for yourself at existing price whilst he sources your compressor. A service check can reveal any other leaks at the same time eh?
  17. This page rocks... Some more pls?
  18. Yeah... Do you have any idea about the next new refrigerant yet "G", in regard to.... a) cost? b) efficiency? I received some word that it was going to be less efficient than R134A, but that's just heresay.
  19. Wise man ^^^
  20. The gas used by Skylines (and many other cars) is "R134A" So when current stock of that is used up by your supplier Simon, the cost of a regas at the moment which might be say $95 will go up to around $150. The breakdown of the above, is part labour - part gas cost. There will be a different substitute refrigerant available in late 2013. Cost to be advised...
  21. This is a heads up from Carbon Car Systems Blacktown; not just to anyone in Sydney but Australia-wide. After the 1st of July, the W/s cost of air cond gasses will be going north by anything up to 600%. If you were thinking of holding off until summer to regas your system, think again!
  22. Suppliers of air cond. gasses for your cars will be putting up their cost prices by up to 600% according to Daniel. The suppliers will not allow Daniel to stockpile these gasses either. So if you thought you might wait until next summer to regas, think again!!!! I would book in with Daniel now!!!
  23. After rectifying the bonnet, do you have a fully enclosed garage?
  24. "But the benefits outweigh the cost!" says the thief. I presume they're well secured with locknuts included in the purchase price?
