  1. Sorry I missed this > got a lot of work done tho - sigh.
  2. Lumleys SV and Shannon's give you a choice of repairer. Whereas Just Car will only give you a choice if it's the cheapest quote. Lumleys is chasing market share at the moment, so quite a few people are making hay while the sun shines.
  3. B-b-but free postage makes it supercheap.
  4. Birds has linked the sequence of processes correctly but what attracts my curiosity is... 1) how can a bump and then scratch cause a write-off? 2) how come his insurance company didn't make contact with you by mail before the write-off? 3) why should it even be a message - and from the ex-boss at that? Strange!
  5. Good! Richard or myself will keep us updated, probably by the weekend.
  6. If you're using a GPS all the way up north, set it to "YES" when it asks you if you wish to opt for Toll Roads... otherwise you end up going through Gympie 3x * Any smoke that time of year is sugar cane fires > dramatic Pics at night. * Atherton Tableland (via train) and Treetop Walk near Cairns is worthwhile. * Bushwalk to Babinda Boulders takes you through rainforest since you're not going as far north as Daintree * Drive up to Castle Hill above Townsville gives you a nice view * Airlie Beach and a sail is a good side trip from Proserpine Geez it's been so long since I've seen my folks in Cairns - naughty naughty TT
  7. One of the cooks there is a bit of a Skyline fan - your friend Justin? Count me IN thanks! Plan C can be a combo of a Cruise along Castlereagh Rd to Agnes Banks > left onto Springwood Rd through Hawkesbury Heights > left onto Gt Westn Hwy > left at Blaxland Maccas through Mitchell's Pass > Aqua Golf at Panthers? I'll leave that with you J
  8. "fatz" got one F/S? Hmmm > might be a R33 GT-R one
  9. ...or updraft from GTR's sheer speed/rear wing made a mess of their "V" formation! Hehe...
  10. If this car makes her new home in Sydney, Matt Everingham has his camera ready to put this V-Spec II Nur into the SAU 2013 Calendar
  11. Do you have any good Hypnotherapists in Canberra Melly? I've had several clients from the ACT of late - mostly for smoking, phobias and compulsive eating. Clients refer more clients and I don't knock them back; but I'm also copping the odd enquiry, "Isn't there anyone closer?" Cheers
  12. Thanks friends > I've gone ahead with Marcus - elrodeo666 $310 delivered happy enough.
  13. Yep, Marcus is organising a GB for us if we want Give me a tick
  14. How is Christian progressing Duncan?
  15. Thanks sincerely for that link! God_speed found it interesting too... particularly since his car came back from Unigroup Eng to-day. His car has a Nismo plenum in it and Yavuz with the right tune extracted a very noticeable improvement in the bottom end to mid range. The plenum wasn't the only contributor of course, but it's the steepness of the graph that this plenum is supposed to influence. With regard to installation, Kazu at JapLink with his small hands and right tools has no problem at all in this department. He's installed many back in Nara anyway. I guess it's a gene thing eh? Hehe
  16. Congratulations Sean! Your detailing efforts by pulling your engine out has paid dividends! Very worthy!
  17. Good. You know I didn't call you a fool don't you?
  18. ...and punching above our Aussie weight, about 5-6 R34 N1s
  19. W. C. Fields once said, "There's a fool born every minute"... and until you mentioned about the low price and the quality of the interior, I was thinking, "Oh no, here we go again!" We'll be interested not only about the dyno graphs but also what the tuner says he can do within your future budget. Hope it's all good in other areas too. Cheers,
  20. Gunmetal Grey R32 GT-R on M4 this morning at 10.15am "DJM.GTR" Nice LMGT4s too I think you looked at my Foz with my SAU Sticker on the back window and thought WT*
  21. Like Kylie said, it's worth flying across and bringing this special beast back. JapLink Motors here in Haberfield compliances interstate cars frequently
  22. When I need body disposal.... no clues for Miss Marple
  23. Will do - thanks krayzie
  24. If you were thinking of spacers, can I assume that you weren't thinking of going to the track in them? > and if you weren't going to track, there are 2 sets of 20" GTCs f/s that are perfect face for the R34 GTR with their Brembos. The limited run black GTCs with polished lip come with new Falken rubber & the rims are near new and unmarked The gold face GTCs are new in boxes and are therefore perfect. God_speed has them. 20x10.5 +15 I think they are. We test fitted the gold ones on my N1 just recently for a Tassie enquirer, but I don't think he's got back to Matt as yet. Btw the rims came right to the edge of the guards.
  25. 11 months to go on your Lay-By "J" Cheers, T PS All other items have been SOLD thanks
