  1. Hi Kylie, 1) Nismo (genuine plastic) side skirts and rear pods will cost upwards of $2K used and in top condition; but you don't need to go that far. Copy fibreglass ones ($700 approx) can be obtained through the reliable source in Bodyformaero. Peter's service is superb in NSW or to pack for interstate. 7/179 Woodpark Rd Smithfield Mob: 0416.243.098 e: [email protected] 2) I was lucky to obtain a set of S-Tune Nismo Coilovers (without leaks) for $2K. Try to get a set of adjustable coilovers that suit your needs. I think "Blitz" was selling some a little while ago.
  2. The Nismo Intake Collector Part# 14110-RSR45 is what I'm after pls? This Plenum has been used on BNR32 + BCNR33 + BNR34 cars. Terry says, "Thanks in advance" > and you reply, "GL Mate!!!" lol
  3. Many thanks for that Chris. I shall PM you shortly > Ta
  4. Are you referring to the Sarich engine? Twas invented in the 80s by an Aussie Ralph Sarich I think > taken over by a USA oil Co? A major gas field in WA in Red Gully also under wraps by an oil Co? Hydrogen engines the same in USA? Btw approximately what was the ratio of cost of LPG to Standard ULP 10 years ago Vs 5 years ago Vs 2012?
  5. Many thanks Scott for the solution via the link! I take it you had to do it again
  6. Many thanks for that ^^^ Has this happened on many other cars before, from your experience?
  7. Understood It will depend too on how nice the Nismo ones are. I might ask Marcus to bring some back for me shortly. Have a great Sunday friend!
  8. My one is playing up intermittently according to the MFD. The DSBC display is OK though. So, I'm in the market for a BNR34 Boost Sensor - which I think is located near the firewall on the driver's side. Anyone wrecking? Cheers,
  9. I would like a top notch set if you're sitting on any; and you would like to convert them into money. Cheers,
  10. If I was farming jiffo, I'd hate the paperwork. If I was into paperwork, I couldn't see myself as a farmer. How do you do both? Create a sort of mindset for that part of the day? Should farmers get a fuel subsidy?
  11. Yes, that Bakemono R32 GTR was tremendous value!
  12. The value of the car at auction/private treaty will depend on its condition and model. A V-Spec II will cost quite a deal. An N1 will cost a whole lot more than 3M Yen. You're also putting your trust in your reputable importer having reliable guys on the ground to do all the checks and balances and then tick the boxes. Because there are set fees on freight, insurance, tax, compliance, registration etc, the more valuable the car is, the more worthwhile it is to import. And of course the corollary is; the less valuable the car is in Oz, the more worthwhile it is to buy it locally. PM me if you need to ascertain costs. Cheers
  13. +1 As Piggaz indicated, you DON'T do that... if its a Nismo clutch!!! If its a Nismo twin copper, it's worth $3K+ that will outlast a new single HD plate. G-Max that N1GTR talked about in his link is $4K+ (with flywheel encased)
  14. Aaah yes; I should have realised - big hips. Wee Jasper. Out of interest, how did that town get its name?
  15. 'Julia puts foot down' srsly, are there any fault lines through Canberra itself (-or are they outside city limits)?
  16. Correct Dear Sir. Instead of debating... 'box or pod' > 'pod or box' 'dry or oil' > 'oil or dry' etc... consider firstly this... On the R34 GTR, one can have a standard box but change the intake. Nismo R&D came up with an intake that increases airflow by 15% Nissan itself don't forget had a knock-out baffle that was kept in place so that it could further add weight to its argument of staying 'within the legal constraint of 206Kw at the fly'
  17. Prayer of comfort for you Bec and Christian and other close family. Prayer of thanks that certain brilliant medical staff have been able to diagnose an extremely difficult problem and so far, fix it. Prayer that God willing, a full recovery is in order for a passionate gentleman who has been an instrumental backbone of the construction of one of the best car clubs in this whole nation.
  18. Fair call. If money does continue to get tighter though, I think that those on struggle street won't just keep their eye on prices: they'll possibly skimp on maintenance too. That makes me wonder if mechanics right now are encountering less servicing and more catastrophic failures. Thoughts?
  19. You've seen the "Rare Skyline Register" thread West? > Done a count? As a 'splinter' of that, I guess you're asking a question that really can't be answered; except if someone were to start a "Sticky" on N1s - and even then, SAU won't have a full complement within that register. Todd from JapLink Motors in fact suggested that SAU commence such a register. I think Kristian (aka Iron Chef) has had it on his mind too. Another interesting question could be, how many N1s were sold off in Japan without them even knowing that it was an N1? Because, believe it or not, both of these below were not recognised as N1s at sale ! ! ! They 'fell through the cracks' so to speak.
  20. 2x Qs 1) What state do you live in? 2) What's your budget? Example:- In NSW, the plates "GTR" are F/S atm - for a price!
  21. I noticed that you edited your post at 12:19 Did you use 4 minutes make it more tactful?
  22. When you do your car upgrade soon David, you'd better make sure its petrol tank is full! Lol
  23. How's it goin' ^^^ ? Immunologists reckon this winter season will be a bad one for Flu. I guess we'll find out if people start dropping like flies - come June/July
  24. There's been one F/S here on SAU for past couple of days!!!
  25. Yes, I had a single 044 in tank pump setup and the flow started to become irregular and intermittently slow down. Unigroup hard-wired the setup to no avail. I returned the product to Just Jap > Bosch testing revealed 'no fault' > returned 'it' to me without the marking I had left on it. Suss
