  1. Both God_speed and I have received compliments about the non-V-Spec R34 GTR we sold last year. They came from both the new owner and his mate. The remarks aren't just about the looks - as in the Daily Telegraph; but also the running gear, the engine and Tanabe suspension. There was no loss of face being a non-V-Spec. Just as yours is a Z Tune dedication; ours is a VS2 dedication. It's about to be modified as we speak.
  2. Great Wk Brenton! You'd have to be a contortionist by now wouldn't you?
  3. The A/C Controls remain and should occupy the DIN slot just below the air vents. The double-DIN head unit sits below that. My former VS2 and Matt's current Nur have had the Alpine INA-W900E double-DIN head unit installed. It's a superb unit with large screen GPS etc One SAUer in WA was trying to sell his new unit below wholesale > F/S thread The thin side strips have a brushed titanium look nearly identical to the standard R34 GT-R facia. If you're not installing it yourself, Daniel of Carbon Car Systems Blacktown has been used by our family several times now Ph 1800.227.252 He does a lot for SAUers
  4. In that case Nick, since I'm old school can you put me down with Garry & Jack for 4 ?????
  5. Will be there thanks Nick ...with ** friends to be edited in midweek!
  6. Tried Just Jap via their half cuts?
  7. Ask your friend Oz to come up and then you can try two > up and down Hawkesbury Heights. And try a Bimmer at the same time Perhaps we'll see you as a SAU Member soon too.
  8. Would one of those totally-adjustable ladders help Sidd? Whilst it acts as a barricade, you could lower it and sit on it whilst lots of Vietnamese are relatively shorter: you could use it as an apparatus to heighten it and get overhead pics: you could attach one of your fill-in flash units to it in a dark ceiling room yaddayadda. Reasoning:- I'm thinking that crowds, no matter how dense, are conditioned to make way for a pram or wheelchair; so why not a devised barricade? My 2c
  9. ...and freight free to you interstaters
  10. So was she using them as party buffet tables Chris? Lucky is right!
  11. Yes well, Derek will be happy to oblige. Derek after all is a pharmacist and all us chemists are consistently ranked in the top 5 of trusted ppl career-wise! LOL
  12. Nice post Yo-Yo ! In addition, I would like to contribute by asking you scarf if you'd like to corner hard? If so, I would certainly accept a ride from an SAUer who knows how to push his GTR through a corner! By all means compare that to an RS4 and M3 and then make your decision; keeping in mind steering feel whilst you're at it. The FPVs and HSVs get a bit left behind no matter how modern they are. Anecdote:- I walked in to Canterbury BMW a few weeks ago to buy a couple of presents and then say hello to a friend Theo the Service Mngr. On the way in, a salesman came up and asked if I needed help. Jokingly I said that I was intending to trade in my R34 for an M3. Then after looking at the GTR from 20m, he said, "What could possess you to do that?" ROFL, I hope the CEO Nat Zanardo has still let him keep his job.... Hehe...
  13. I don't know about now but there have been a few lately in the F/S section.
  14. Besides his GTR, I think big_d has one. Maybe PM him?
  15. Fair Trading now has to investigate why 98RON fuel is so expensive compared to Regular. Apparently the discrepancy is supposed to be 3c - not up to 16c. Betcha FT will be a toothless tiger!
  16. Proceeding thanks
  17. Thanks Steve-0 and Marcus. OK, let's go with the kit! Can you PM me your details Marcus > direct deposit? Much appreciated - really.
  18. Whoa!!! Long way from Sydney too!!! LOL
  19. I have access to buying one off Brad, but there are connection pieces missing for example the one off the hose on top of the block. Are these hard to obtain? Or shall i get aftermarket fittings? Maybe I'll just get a new kit.
  20. All of the above can do a good job exporting your car to Oz. 1 Top Secret are very good in their communications through Jack and Garry. They run track days for their clients + they have a backup service dept. 2 Xtreme will attempt for sure that your car gets a trouble free ride through Joe 3 Just Jap may not turn over as many cars as above, since Steve imports lots of half cuts for spares, but there's no complaint from Kim who got a R34 GTR N1 through them. And Paul at Pulse Racing will only make that recommendation with you in mind. Afterwards, JJ will also give you a good discount on spares. 4 Nagoya through Alex will certainly look after your needs with good communication. 5 Iron Chef has good efficient spotters in Japan who'll only give a tick on a good car. The freight contact is cheaper than some others but does take great care. And Kristian ensures that your car gets smooth compliancing here in Sydney through Todd at JapLink Haberfield. There's a backup service dept there too with RB specialist Kazu. My last two GTRs have come this way.
  21. Lots of common sense posts above Christo
  22. Item #3 NISMO 3" S/S Exhaust is still available; but this time, I'll throw in the NISSAN OEM Cat too.
  23. The N1s ...for those who like hp/ton
