We have our 2nd E39 in the family now, and we won't part with it.
I think it's been rated by a car mag as being the best made sedan in God knows how long.
One point of relief for the new owner could be this:-
My previous R34 GTR also a VS2, had a airbag warning light that wouldn't go away despite the approaches you took.
I just needed to replace the airbag ECU under the centre console > Voila!
Make sure that the unit is the series 2 one; because the series 1 is different and the loom won't fit

now to to tell the partner I'll be spending just a bit more, if anyone has suggestions on how to do this without incurring problems Im all ears
Sweetie, Ive been trying to clean up the sink. Now there's a stain over there near the drain. See that? Now I'll be back from Bunnings in a jiffy and it'll be all gone by the time I attack it! Cya soon
And I salvaged my fractured front splitter through the magic of my panelbeater before he painted it - satin black.
And Nepean Valley Smash repairs 4735.3522 also repaired the fractured front splitter of my former V-Spec II before painting it Bayside Blue as body colour
But I guess, you're the best judge as to whether or not your current splitter is just fractured - or absolutely mangled
I think that ^ ^ ^ looks OK. Tough actually.
Is it light?
My Nismo one is heavy.
I wouldn't mind Nismo making one in the shape of a LMGT4
...and keep it as light as the OEM
As I implied earlier, PPSR is second rate compared to VEDA because PPSR doesn't supply info about odometer readings, nor current car value, nor whether it might have come from the Lockyer Valley Qld last year and had had flood damage.
CarHistory is part of the VEDA Group.
What I wonder is, did the Sydney Morning Herald reporter only quote the $3.70 fee for a 'verbal'; or a basic report without the frills?
CarHistory will charge $33 approx for a comprehensive report on a car.
And how much info will they supply for just a 'verbal'?
2007?
2 weeks in hospital > out now?
Able to due work? At a desk?
Painkillers?
Tangles (in SA) is in the wars with constant pain too.
I'd hate that!
I notice that even a few modern cars don't keep my back in a comfortable straight position like the GT-R seat does.
You'll have absolutely no problem working at an auction house...
* as a cleaner so long as...
* you change your name from Benji to Benjo
Hint:- Toilets always need a scrub
Agreed ^^^
Yes Dan, I share your interest in the Z-Tune front bar - without any interest whatsoever in the equivalent guards or bonnet.
It's a bit more edgy as well as aggressive in certain spots.
If you do put it in and you're somewhat disappointed at the result, try sitting on the ground with your legs either side of the tyre and push the valve right in: you might get a laugh out of it
I can look over that link above again and again and sure, the car is a bit twitchy with stock V-Spec suspension; however...
* it's a glorious run
* it's a glorious car
And I defy any R34 GT-T or V35 GT to get anywhere close to what the R33 GT-R can do.
Remember the car in that link is bone stock!
Just with S-Tune suspension, Kurosawa could knock off another 3 sec. With bone-jarring R-Tune suspension, another 7 sec.
Are you after "driver satisfaction?". Driven a couple of R33 GT-Rs?
Several people here rest their case!
