  1. Tis good to have you along...
  2. Payment made thanks Dan. Besides, I was always willing to pay $1 more than Richard
  3. Princess Gemma is a teacher! Has this classroom been abandoned? Has she taught you nothing (- other than rocking up with only 10psi in her rear tyres)? > time for the class captain to step up! > Justin?
  4. I'll take them off your hands thanks Dan. PM you to swap details.
  5. Absolutely gorgeous Mick. Original number plates of that time too. I had a loan of my mother's one on our honeymoon to Perth > National Parks etc, because I couldn't trust my Alfetta GTV to make it there and back (in one piece) - lol Extra low Kms I trust?
  6. Good - thanks for that information Ash!
  7. Got your PM JEPPE > have replied with a questionnaire (since blood tests for ME/CFS are unreliable). Next step? > PM again to get to the next stage (if required). I've resigned from the Exec effective in 2 weeks > I lose a lot of my PMs. If I lose yours, I'll watch this thread. Cheers, Terry
  8. About the RE30s... a) they were purchased new and are probably still unmarked b) titanium face with polished lip c) heavily discounted at this price: a bargain.
  9. It's worth protecting your credit rating; so what work do you do? Qualified in.....? BTW Welcome to SAU! ...just got back into a Skyline myself.
  10. The following is a classic equation... Glandular Fever (especially EBV rather than CMV) + Candidiasis Infestation = Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (aka ME - myalgic encephalopathy) ^ ^ ^ Remember it! If you need to treat it effectively, PM me or if in Sydney make an appointment. There's too much involved to explain on a forum. PS:- Pseudoephedrine only helps to create a short spike of energy. Ephedrine was what truckies would use to stay awake > backlash later on.
  11. Lol > so what favour did you want off me again Brett?
  12. My memory's better than yours ...and I think I'm older
  13. depends on umpteen issues If so, get comp test ...check tune All the best. Robbie knows his honda stuff > you can look underneath it too if on a hoist > Robbie will let you
  14. Very close > very very close > Hannys Performance Unit 3, 28 Victoria St Smithfield 9725.5115 People come from all over Sydney to see "Robbie"
  15. It's worthwhile noting too that those same ADVAN RG I rims are... a) discontinued > very rare b) displayed on the SAU 2012 Calendar > Month of May c) procured originally from Iron Chef d) displayed on Black R34 GT-R in Cars Guide Cover Story of 17/4/09 e) just like the RE30s, extremely light
  16. Aw shucks > Ta... Just a couple more... Front Lower Splitter + Skirts and Pods will be painted satin black too methinks...
  17. Edit* Sorry, I thought we were discussing a Triumph - LOL
  18. No Stag is worth that sort of compliment unless there's white powder in the running boards. But srsly, is it possible to totally dismantle the 'thing' and send it across as a container of parts? Can it even be complied? Doubt it - forget it!
  19. After a 200,000km service on a daily and as I took off from a set of lights, a fulcrum bolt bent over causing the timing belt to shred. The car stalled. The car of course lost all compression. I was very fortunate that the valves didn't kiss Andrew.
  20. No quibbling with Marc. On occasions though, you can get a quote from a competitive company (eg with Lumleys SV if you're with Just Car) and ask if you can maintain a Sum Insured that's similar to your current $20K. It may be of benefit to get a quote one year with B if you're with A. Then if you insure with B, the following year get a quote from A again. Sometimes there can be a pleasant surprise (as if that's possible from an insurance co)
  21. I will agree with Phil on this. There has been no limit on the aspect of "budget" And so, with no limit on budget, I'll try to contribute to this thread from yet another different angle. Weight:- To compete against the BR-Z or 86GT on weight and with heaps of moolah, perhaps I would... * replace the s/steel exhaust with a Kaki Mega N1 Titanium * replace existing glass with a thinner gauge like what's on an M3 CSL * replace steel guards and bonnet with aluminium and c/f * replace existing strut brace with Nismo titanium * further reduce unsprung weight by getting light Enkei rims * get rid of mats and soundproofing * remove a/c * remove speakers and head unit * remove rear wiper * did you know that child restraint brackets weigh more than a Kg? * and I haven't enquiried yet how much you weigh, to help power/wt
  22. Whilst in agreement with above, would it not be more prudent for the US to nudge NATO to prepare for any contingency if it hasn't done so already? After all, Europe would not want OPEC to take a stop gap measure of simply raising oil prices with the EU having to pay premium prices for Siberian crude eh?
  23. Nice gesture!
  24. It's looking very nice Luke! For the traditional look you know the answer. For an individual look it's the other answer. And I don't think it would detract from the value of the car should you sell it further down the track - especially with a good choice of wheel. As for me? I don't mind either way.
  25. Both 32s on this page are so yummy
