  1. Am very grateful too Brian...
  2. Ghost-town?
  3. Sorry they're so damn dark! I'll try these... Damn rain...
  4. Onto the car they go... Black 'n White theme seems to work ok I think...
  5. Yes, well I think Nismo R&D did their job very well indeed! The C/F Bonnet has an airbox connection too.
  6. Functionally:- The vented C/F bonnet albeit a genuine Nismo R-Tune one on my son's Nur reduces gauge temp by up to 7 degrees over and above the C/F V-Spec II bonnet with of course the NACA duct. Cosmetically:- I like to see a variety of bonnets. Imagine what our cars would look like if they were all the same. Heck, I even had an exact copy NACA duct moulded into a former R34 GTR aluminium bonnet for looks; but hoping too that it just might be functional. Well it reduced temps by 1-2 degrees
  7. You've always looked forward to challenges Andrew; and this is no exception! Great buying of two jigsaw puzzle pieces that fit together! And to have the knowhow of Mercury > CRD will make your build smooth sailing whilst keeping hiccups minimal! Our family has recently bought a CRD worked car with no complaints! Looking forward to #14!
  8. If the buffing doesn't improve the end result by over 98%, ask him on pickup to complete the receipt to acceptable ATO standard with full price, letterhead etc. Also take along a well dressed friend in pin stripes to take Pics of your car, its crummy paint job and the workshop's signage. As he/she is standing kerbside, point out to the owner that person as a 'clerk from a law firm' and that he'll hear from them if he doesn't give you a refund. Let's call this 'sabre rattling' if required. 'Sabre Rattling' has worked before.
  9. I agree with above posts that offer great advice. I empathise with you. Painters need a lot of expertise to be great. Some - well, they'll never get the hang of it. And your one? Sounds like he uses dope after consuming gifts of chocolate.
  10. Hi Bobby, Can you send a few Pics of the front bar to [email protected] please? Ta Tez
  11. One 10sec quarter would dry your knickers G
  12. Oh yeaaaaahh !
  13. Yes, that really is superb isn't it!!!!!!
  14. What you say is so true ...and "to each nut and bolt" you say? Well I forgot to add didn't I that Just Jap also sold me those Black Duralumin Wheel Nuts to secure those Gold ADVANS? ...and she could hold her head high amongst more illustrious company too (despite being a replica). eg. White V-Spec + B/Blue V-Spec II above.
  15. Some of you have seen this car before. Whilst our family has had it for nearly 5 years > and now it's been sold as a great car to hopefully a great owner up north, ....let me tell you a story about what had been patchworked into the car over this time. It came from a private importer with a V-Spec sticker on it. But it's a standard GT-R. Well I decided it might as well become a V-Spec II Copy eh? 1) Iron Chef supplied me the ADVAN RG Wheels 2) Ken Lowe Racing sold me the NACA Duct 3) Carmate sold me the Front Diffuser 4) JSAI sold me the Side Skirts & Rear Pods 5) Team Jetspeed sold me the Radiator Air Deflector 6) Powerplay Imports sold me Tanabe Progressive Springs that lowered the car by 20mm 7) JDM Performance supplied me with the C/F Rear Diffuser 8) Bodyform Aero sold me the Rear Wing C/F Blade and fabricated a diff bracket for the Rear Diffuser 9) Powerplay Imports sold me V-Spec II foot pedals & the"II" sticker that made the rear quarter of the car look like "V-Spec II" 10) Just Jap sold me the VS2 "NISSAN" Boot badge & smoke indicator lenses ^ ^ ^ Sure this car won a treasured award ^ ^ ^ But it couldn't have happened without the meticulous attention to detail by Eugene Chan (aka JDM Performance) who spent many hours detailing this GT-R Cosmetically, seeing this car transformed into a really tidy specimen was a whole lot of fun.

  19. BACON! When I was 22 and playing Pennants Squash for Sydney U. in Sydney's eastern suburbs, we as hosts that night had to put on the eats and drinks. My Mum cooked some fried rice. None of the visitors ate it... ...until just before they left, one quaffed down two plates full. The smell of fried rice became too irresistable. Next day, I asked Dad why the squash visitors turned up the fried rice all night? He asked who the visitors were or where they came from. I said "Macabe" He said, "Well that explains it." Anyway one Jew couldn't resist the temptation of BACON! LOL
  20. Welcome to SAU.NSW James! To weigh up the pros 'n cons for a Sydney arrival, I'd get onto JapLink Motors who do compliancing work all the time. www.japlinkmotors.com.au Talk to Todd the CEO. They're the landlords for our SAU Clubhouse too. Laws here strict? Well you may have to repaint that blue front lip
  21. 'poor guy' indeed haha... So that old adage "the end justifies the means" lives on - lol
  22. Sorry Dan, I thought it might still be up there. I decided on the weekend that I'd keep the Foz > my son took the advert down pretty quickly then. Apologies!
  23. Yes the stickers are stuck on. When you look at LMGT4 rims out of the RAYS factory, they always have the sticker on the same spoke relative to where the valve stem is. There is no clear over the powdercoat due to the resin that Craved used. Thus, brake dust cannot penetrate. There is no coating over the Nismo sticker either as it's tough vinyl I believe.
  24. Hi Dan, My Ad ID is "S SE-AD-417507 It's a Silver Forester XT for $18,350 NSW Rego Plate "MY06XT" I'll try and look at it tomorrow or Saturday. Cheers, Tez
  25. Umm ...read years ago that Manuka Honey was journalised through the Uni Aukland to... * kill Helicobacter Pylori bacteria (bad) * helps with healthy mucosal lining of the gut and villi of small intestine where digestion occurs
