  1. Have you got an automatic transmission Tiffany?
  2. Yes, as stated in Post #14, the filters contain ammonia to make the nicotine more addictive. Tobacco companies are scum.
  3. Yesterday at Parramatta. $32K reduced from $39k is the Manual Citroën DS3 Sport. 1 left. Black. We looked Alfa Mito & Abarth too for another lady. The Auto DS3 isn't worth it since it drops the turbo.
  4. You're required to supply the $$ Price in any F/S Advert Tom or Andy or whatever your name is!
  5. Thanks very much for letting us know. I look forward to this, having previously owned... * 1600 (my very first car - new) * 180B * 240K Probably see guys older than me at last
  6. Ask Jim to write "Stolen From Jim Richards" Pat. I got Jim to write that ^ ^ ^ on the back of Darron Corrigan's (Nismo) shirt. > Jim laughed and did it. = great bloke
  7. Even after you've sorted things out - legally or not, it makes you think, "Next time I take a car to get a major service, I should put my initials on different parts of the car eg hoses, filters, inside of tyres to see if they're rotated, belts, plugs etc." Moral:- A criminologist can't catch a crim. unless he can think like a crim. > Checkmate!
  8. BM.67.EV is only a recent number plate. The previous owner probably had a different plate if the current owner has had it for a while. In fact, how long has the current owner had it for? Why is he selling it? I can understand why you'd like to know who the former SAU owner was > more details and history. With lack of former history, one needs to rely on one's brains trust (mentioned earlier) to check over if this car has had a long hard life.
  9. If the odometer numbers are skewed, it may simply mean that the previous owner (in Oz or Japan) rather than the current owner has tampered with it. In the adverts, he mentions that there was a previous owner he bought it from > so is there any paperwork? Does the previous paperwork including auction papers from Japan mention anything about the odometer reading? One really needs to go by other telltale signs as to whether or not the car is in good condition and has a good service history. Check it over with a mechanic who knows Skylines > comp test and the rest ...and a panelbeater friend who can check for rust, previous panel removal, damage to wheel well, crossmembers, arms, struts, rails
  10. Alas,... no my friend... Just hope this... went to a good home and... knows what a treasure it is. Nathane yellow colour it was. Sigh...
  11. ...whilst gatecrashing a parking lot
  12. My first car since you've mentioned it. Twas new one in 1970. And what I did to it... New do-dads I was one lucky fellah
  13. The first week? That's actually not a bad philosophy for a person who has been hospitalized for over a week > goes home and thinks, "Sh!t I've done it for this long: I might as well throw the loose ones away whilst I'm at it" Being read the 'riot act' in hospital helps too. Still get patients who have to quit because their surgeons won't operate unless they've already quit.
  14. ...as in Post #23 Those Tomei drop-in cams 'n gears helped to put more area beneath the power curve = much less lag = more bottom end power I can't stress enough how much a good tuner will get the best out of your car.
  15. Anyone want to join this cruise??? Stephan Winkelmann told a Service Manager to tell Yours Truly to get out of the Service Area whilst I walked past and into the Museum in '06 (the year after he started as CEO) - lol I got footage of it though... + a Soundtrack of a Diablo fanging it around a track (echoing inside the Museum) + all the Yummies on show > made my day! PS I have it on minidisc > don't know how to upload it to here if it's possible.
  16. ...bit of discernment required for OP
  17. Can we use this at a film night at the Clubhouse HQ Bob? Eric has the Vid Promo all set up for Legends Night > but hey, we'll need your car as you know.
  18. If I was in SA, I wouldn't knock back a beggar
  19. Great! Replaying tonight on ABC (2)
  20. Jack Brabham actually had our larrikin idea for the cameras Pat. Someone asked him when he was going to retire whilst he was leading the F1 Driver' C'ship. So at the start of the next race he walked up to his car with a limp, a shuffle, his cane and a grey haired beard. Aussie humour at it's best as other drivers looked on with disgust! This alone is a must see!
  21. First up, I don't trust anyone around Lansvale. Best to use someone who doesn't want to sell you extras and knows their RB engines To inspect your prospective buy, call * JapLink at Haberfield 02-9716.0857 * Tunehouse at Marrickville 02-9557.4000 * Just Jap at Kirrawee 02-9545.0532
  22. 'The Pigeons are flying the coop' on TT tonight. Sensationalist TV > lock your kiddies away!
  23. How are people getting on with their lives? Are there many fault lines through Christchurch? Too unsafe to rebuild? Many people moved away? Infrastructure repairs? People have had to change habits to shop, get hair done, get fuel, get to work, change jobs? Morale amongst those who are sticking it out? Resilience of the little children? Afraid of more to come?
  24. Lateral thought:- Spray it on the treads > No need to replace tyres > Steppin' out with skids
