  1. Great! You'll do just fine! Old saying:- "90% of people about to die, thought they'd live just a bit longer".
  2. 1st paragraph:- you're absolutely right. 2nd paragraph:- depends on whether you can see yourself as a fashion setter rather than a fashion follower. I had a truckie recently quit ie from over 100/day to zip. He's surrounded by smokers at truck stops.
  3. ^^^ less side effects than Zyban but yes for some, the side effects can be quite disconcerting.
  4. Aah, well now I need some of that for my mother-in-law's radiator
  5. Well, the Pearl Black GT-R has been with us for the better part of 5 years > only 47,000 Kms (genuine) > still going strong > now up for sale! 1 enquiry from OzFoz member's father 1 enquiry from SAU member That's a good result so far.
  6. Hypnotherapy Vs Nicotine 'n Habit 1) the patient needs to be motivated & for the right reason 2) I explain how it works; and that we treat physical withdrawal with dopamine support whilst hypnosis negates the craving thru any of 5 methods 3) 1st hypnosis deals with craving & I help the client hypnotize himself; not me doing it to the client 4) 2nd hypnosis eradicates desire/want/temptation 5) 3rd and last hypnosis breaks up the link between nicotine and stress. 6) cost of each session is $99 Not Hard * prior to sessions and after, I recommend no alcohol & reduced caffeine * l-tyrosine is the precursor of dopamine to stop moodiness/down feelings ie physical withdrawal * anyone who gets involved in movies or books can reach hypnosis - but people with ADD have difficulty * wrong motivation eg doing it because she/he wants you to * right motivation eg health, fitness, mental control back, family, pregnancy & $$$ * success rate can change from year to year but generally it's over 80% in age group of 20-55. It drops above or below that figure for different reasons PS Sept 2011 became my 40th year in practice Actually about to go to the ASCH annual general meeting. That's the professional body that you look out for after the practitioner's name
  7. I'm about to take Bosch to Small Claims Tribunal. Firstly, may I state that Just Jap is not at fault. Neither is Unigroup Eng. Just Jap sold me a "044" fuel pump whilst my R34 GT-R V-Spec II was being upgraded. > All went well with near new turbs (-7s), new actuators (HKS), new front pipe (Blitz), new injectors (Denso 700cc), new Power FC D-Jetro (installed professionally), Tomei Cams/cam gears > Tuned efficiently at Unigroup > Then near new Kakimoto arrived and was put on at Unigroup > Retune revealed after a couple of hours that not all was well with the "044" (and we all know what happens if it should fail) > A replacement new "044" was installed and demonstrated that psi efficiency had improved by over 20% > Tried refund procedure through Just Jap who revealed to me that this was the second refund claim in a week but on an "040" (with the same symptoms of falling psi) > I had to keep chasing Just Jap to chase Bosch > 3 months later (like pulling teeth), Bosch thinks those two fuel pumps are OK Now I want that new failing fuel pump back since I paid good money for it; and I need it tested to corroborate my claim. > I wish to make contact with the owner of the "040"; and I'm sure that Just Jap will oblige, as I've left my contact details with them > Together I'd like to get those pumps independently tested > But where's the best place? Then with receipts in hand I wish to get back at Bosch for their lousy service on a product that is supposedly good but with a few 'grenades with loose pins'
  8. Is it too late to ask for entry for a black VS2 Nur that we pick up on Nov 12th? 11th hour stuff eh? We don't mind really, that it's too late A-J-D Committee but it is quite nice eh? Ummm... I didn't quite mean the Datsun Forklift - lol
  9. What's the latest on the ADM R32 GT-R for sale here on SAU? Asking price was about $32K AFAIK
  10. I used to do Kung Fu (White Dragon Style) No belts - being Chinese in form. Went through those power trips to be like Bruce and Chuck But my 2nd greatest lesson was from the greatest Aust boxer in Johnny Famechon. He was a master at making people miss. This allowed time to counterpunch/kick/sweep. Greatest lesson was to learn how to talk my way out of a fight.
  11. Leave no stone unturned in getting the correct specimen first up; if possible with genuine low kms and full history. Some more reputable car shops offer a quality 12 month warranty (after reading fine print). Some shops on the other hand have warranties with escape clauses that resemble a sieve. Even whilst they build a warranty into the price, they can still be squeezed whilst buying at the end of any month + they will put the car up on a hoist for your fine tooth comb.
  12. Or a 1 ball! 'Twas in my first car back in 1970, which was... hehe...

  19. I wish more practitioners could be holistic. In your case you had to take things in your own hands and look elsewhere. I like good results like yours!
