  1. Have you guys ascertained how many insurance companies Suncorp-Metway owns? Of the Promina group, Suncorp owns APIA, AAMI, Just Car, Insuremyride, Vero, Asteron, Tyndall and wait for it; Shannons. As Richard said, Shannons are 'firm but fair' in legalistic insurance terms; because I can see the day coming when a new policy may be subject to sending in >6 pics of your car to ratify it. I can remember when in 2003, I bought a R33 GT-R and before Just Car would give me a policy, they forced me to drive my 'new' wheels from Sylvania to Seven Hills (before Norwest) to have the car visually inspected. They would not issue a Cover Note for my trip across the suburbs. And the spin-off is that they've been dragged kicking to the table where there's more competition > and now Suncorp is the 'big fish' gobbling up smaller ones.
  2. do they speak like this ^ ^ ^ in 'tha deep south' too?
  3. LIKE THIS! ^ ^ ^ If only I could - LOL
  4. PULSE RACING 3/788 Old Illawarra Rd Menai 02-9543.5007 Paul Fisher - there's nothing he doesn't know about WRX / STi / Forester XT He can also check fault codes & has dyno if required
  5. ^ ^ ^ Wondering where you might put "Data Dot" System in that list? procurable from Repco/Supercheap/AutoOne etc.
  6. Now... With such dense population, many people are too poor to relocate and simultaneously find gainful income.
  7. SAU has an ongoing relationship with discount from Lincorp Nissan Parts at Camellia 02-8844.4488
  8. These? http://pakenham-cardinia-leader.whereilive.com.au/photos/gallery/when-trams-go-bad-recent-accidents-around-melbourne/ For insurance? Seems like double-digit-IQ mess-ups to me!
  9. What does O'Brien glass or equivalent say?
  10. Aaaah Trams. Interstate drivers just luuuuuvv playing chicken as we drive past stopped trams. We have Victorians so conditioned now that when they get off the tram, if they see an interstate number plate coming down the road, they jump back on backwards. Now that is cool to see!!!
  11. Going to show interstate drivers how to do hook-turns at Winton in Oct?
  12. Cons:- * White front bar will get locust stains after crossing the border. * Risk of being T-boned in SA if trying your Hook-turn Pros:- * Your car whilst serviced is strong! (as Mayuri Krab says)
  13. GTR-N1

    35 Gtr Plates

Probably good for a business owner for tax purposes and wishes to draw attention to the car with advertising already on it.
  14. We're pretty scared now 'cause... You've gots lots of ammunition whilst you wallow in it
  15. There was a WA thread last year about how the SAUer could retrain his Victorian Missus to drive properly Noel. Is it inbred? Will he have trouble over in Perth when it comes to teaching his offspring how to drive?
  16. Often see guys from SA, NSW and even TAS pop in from time to time Michael. We find Victorians interesting - quirky but interesting. Next time I'm down for the Aust Tennis Open I'd like to also see a whole SAU Cruise convoy do a "Hook Turn" pls
  17. Next door neighbours went on a 4WD convoy camping trip through the Kimberleys last year. About 3 Landcruisers were opened up at a N.P. carpark with things stolen. They can only guess that a scanner was used (from close by) when they locked their vehicles.
  18. ...from an Old saying - a metaphor... "A man doesn't need to do a job with a gun at his head"'
  19. Willow bark is just to be used whilst there's inflammation or pain > and then cease. It's safe for long term usage though. Prescribed antibacterials by Dr can be followed up by a probiotic such as Inner Health Plus, or better still, Polybac 8 or Microdophilus. If they're long term, the chemist might have some probiotic that you take whilst still on the antibiotic. The probiotic replenishes the good friendly bacteria and prevent Candida fungal infections eg tinea etc Chinese Medicines I wouldn't know about as they're prescribed and dispensed by a TCM practitioner. They stink - lol
  20. Viper 855XV (Black Wire) Aust Standard is still very good - 3 extra auxiliary outlets for turbo timer etc.
  21. good; now pay the installer $90
  22. Oh and leave your gun at home Pat. Jeff doesn't need it pointed at his head whilst working!
  23. Thanks for clarifying Phil. Yes, I nearly failed my memory test.
