  1. PM me your landline if you're willing pls. Shall call you tomorrow night.
  2. You mentioned how "chronic pain leads to depression". Is it also fair enough to say that depression heightens one's sensitivity to pain too? > Vicious circle Brendan? Pristiq is within a group of drugs called SNRI like Efexor and Cymbalta. They work on both Serotonin and Noradrenalin levels. Because there is no accurate testing procedure for these, a Dr has to weigh up it seems, how to guesstimate what's best for you. Do the X-Rays, CTs and MRIs reveal where the pain is coming from? I wish that doctors, acupuncturists and naturopaths could all work together: same with physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/362363-sau-nsw-membership-renewals/ Love to have you on board Steve. Twas nice to see a 350Z burning up the Texi track yesterday. Macquarie Pass Cruise is on July 2 SAU.NSW WSID Drags are on July 9 Check out the Event section in NSW and come along!
  4. Welcome Dave to SAU. Enjoy your time here within the community! Kakimoto is pretty loud even as a Mega-N1 rather than the straight through. It's no use telling the cops though that it was recommended to you here - lol
  5. Welcome Harry! Enjoy the community! You're in the No 1 state for picky cops too!
  6. Enjoy the Macquarie Pass Cruise on July 2. Welcome to SAU!
  7. Honda:- Runs on E95 only, or higher. Cheers,
  8. hehe... Pat, Haven't done the Mac Pass in the Foz yet (with thicker RSB) If Gemma puts her miniature dog in the cargo area of her Foz, she'll be up for animal cruelty.
  9. * Edit:- sorry. I meant E95. Sorry to waste 2 mins of your life!!!!
  10. I used the E85 on the Prelude VTiR for many months with no pinging. The only downside was the car could go through a bit more fuel under load; but virtually no difference in consumption via hwy.
  11. When I had a 5th Gen Prelude daily, I couldn't obtain info on whether that car was able to take E95 on a regular basis > Terry calls Honda and leaves a message. Technical advisor calls me back to say that the Prelude is able to accept E95 on a regular basis and even both the Accords at the time were able to do the same. Year was 2006
  12. Aaron, How are you keeping?
  13. Wet:- Forester to keep yours company Gemma Dry:- GT-R comes out to play
  14. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're here to stay. * Most have side effects, many of which need adjustment with guess what? - another drug! * Many have knock on effects that weren't intended; some +ve and some -ve * Only a minute few are supplemental eg thyroxine * Only a minority fix the problem completely * And even fewer can lay claim to being preventative medicine I haven't done pharmacy for over 5 years now and there are other pharmacist SAUers on here who can keep this thread's Qs satisfied with up-to-date answers better than I. On the lighter side... Here's Lucy with... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVfBRRm7RgI
  15. Thanks Luke for the use of your socket set re: the SAU trolley DIY assembly. Hope you got everything back. And did you get your Membership forms? Pleasure to meet Olivia I trust you other guys who asked for membership forms will support the club and benifit heaps!
  16. Just goes to show eh that eons reveal all > not seasons, decades or centuries. When the major ice occurred 650,000,000 yrs ago, CO2 sank to the bottom of the oceans as ice reached the 30th parallel ie a tipping point of 'no return' > voila an ice age Did it last for a decade? NO Did it last for a century? NO It lasted for 25,000,000 yrs. Q. And what pulled the globe out of it? A. Volcanoes and mid ocean rifts > CO2 - needed for life And I'm not perturbed about CO2 emissions coming from cars. SO2 is much worse for our planet.
  17. to be sure, to be sure ...but gold rims with lots of brake dust on a black car don't seem to make the whole car look dirty > just makes it look more mean hehe...
  18. on the lighter side... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/258139-what-mods-to-do-in-order/page__hl__which+mods+order gets 'serious' on post #10 >>>
  19. OK, 2 mins ago, we've got confirmation that this will be an official SAU Event... which means we have CAMS insurance attached. I've PM'd Darrin in Qld with regard to free accommodation for Queenslanders and secured parking at the SAU.NSW clubhouse within the JapLink grounds on the nights of Oct 1st and 2nd. If this is taken up, I'll need to see how the security alarms can be sectioned off.
  20. Gold rims on a white GT-R look superb Khaled (kinggtr). GTRsean has gold CE28Ns on his too. They do need to be kept clean though eh, because if the rims look dirty, the whole car looks dirty?
  21. Welcome Daniel, When you get the one you want, keep in mind that SAU will be running the 15th Anniversary of the Stagea Celebration on Oct 2nd here in Sydney. Look up the Skylines > Stagea subforum for more details as they progress.
  22. Spectators are welcome Garry which means... potential reserves will be welcome too. Besides, we all make a few more friends at such an event. PS come early for scrutineering tho'
  23. The DSBC is usually on the same side as the dipstick. Did you perhaps loosen/dislodge a tube?
  24. Well we have our 1st Sponsor = Top Secret Imports Many thanks to Garry and Jack!!! So far,... Meetup = Forge St Blacktown (outside Top Secret) Destination = Cordeaux Dam (off Picton Rd) How does this sound, men? (no girls yet?) Keep in contact with Nick or myself for developments > we'll accept the offers of help that are already posted above too.
  25. At 150,000km, I'd probably let go of the BMW idea Dan unless it's checked over by a technician as mentioned above. Water pumps and side tanks go by then. My wife is lucky to have a 2003 530i with only 60,000km It also appears you want something in white lol As Ian "iplen" said, consider a Mazda 6 or the Honda Euro. Did you know that the Euro will tolerate E95? Both are better than the boring Camry. Both have better build quality than the Subie. I see complaints about build quality on the OzFoz forum. Both have good resale value when it becomes time to sell. And if you are leaning towards the Honda, check out Hannys Performance at 3/28 Victoria St Smithfield 9725.5115 Just drop in and talk to Robbie or Peter. Really friendly. They might remember that old dude yrs ago with the midnight purple R33 GT-R + Preludes They allow you to wait whilst servicing is going on. They allow you to stand under the car whilst hoisted. They use genuine Honda parts They charge a very low labour cost/hr They only accept cash
