My R32 GT-R lands in the next few months from Japan, It's been sitting in a Car Yard for 8 months untouched. I have a fairly apt mechanical knowledge, I can with some help from a friend change timing belts - adjust the timing, oil, oil filters. So basically I have an R32 GT-R coming off from the docks that hasn't been touched for 8 months, provided the engine doesn't need some work what is there to be done? I'm thinking. Oil Oil Filter Timing Belt Compression Test All other oil (Differential ETC...) Any to add? What are your thoughts? Thanks Gary.

Depends you're 19 so most people won't touch you if you own a turbo. Just Cars quoted me $5000 a year for an under 25 with a R32 GT-R, with 2 HKS 2510 turbos. I'm not sure if other insurance companies take into account your modifications to your car. Third Party would usually be under a grand, but that only covers theft, fire and other peoples cars in crashes. Full Comprehensive is the lot, and is also alot more expensive.

Because in my opinion they are nice cars, sure I could VIP style it if I wanted to But all the money goes to the GT-R, I want something 'different' to drive in the meantime, hence the Cima. Plus the car has a few parts in it for an RB26 Which are padlocked and insured, can't trust the wharfies.

Hello all! I recently aqquired a nice Y31 1988 Cima. This is the first time I have purchased one of these 'luxury' style cars and was wondering if any of you Japan gurus knew the specifications? It is a VG30DE (T) I believe? also it has airbag suspension Thats about it? Any specification you guys have? Thanks in advance, Gary.

Hello, I have two HKS 2510 turbos for sale, they came off an R33 GT-R. They have done approximately 9000 Kilometres since being fitted and have only had one owner. They come with Actuators. These turbo's are rated at 300 Horsepower each and spool up extremely fast. Brand new they are priced at $3872 each from HKS Australia. I am after $2750 for both. I will not sell separately.
