you can rent a hydralic pipe bender -
i think it is worthy every penny to do it yourself it is pretty easy people say except for the wiring which shouldnt be to hard

i think it is an oxygen sensor for the computer to adjust the air to fuel of the car.

RB30E series 2 how do you know if it is a series 1 or 2 ???

that is a expensive, everything stock?? with that money i can do that conversion with aftermarket parts

no problem, but i just wanted to get out in the open that i am not going to jump into something that is over me head and not research it, it cost money and time

it is not to tight but you do have to move some stuff like the battery, also you need to toss the stock fan and get an electrical one, but a RB26DETT fits better than a RB25DET with the exception of the GTR turbos getting in the way of the steering rack

but you get .5 more displacment and extra 2 cylinders

i would like to say that i a not doing to the conversion now, i am not stupid i willnot take on this conversion with no research...i am not as stupid as you thing i am..thanks for your replies

what are the differences like the pitchs between the teeth or what?

oh and if you think that the nose is too heavy get an amp and some subs in the trunk and if you put on the scale you will have 50/50 weight distrubtion(sp?)

yes it is very posable with the right mounts and some custom exhaust and intercooler plumbing, and off course the wiring

also how thick are RB30 head gaskets? has anyone heard of ceramic coated cylinder walls, if you have is it expensive? it is suppose to bring down heat by alot

SXtacy i believe that your were going to drop a RB26/30 hybrid in a silvia, did you do it? how where the Twin turbo exhaust dump and downpipes? also i cant find that pdf what is the name of it? and did JNR24 ever post his RB30 engine swap guide thing?

Thank you Joel i read' the thread and i dont understand how to get the VVT to work on the RB30 block it said something about oil galleries, what are galleries i have never heard of that term before is it the oil pan or something. Thanks
