  1. hi guys, if you were on the parkway heading towards belco on Friday the 12th at about 6 15 you would have seen my r33....... written off!! was by far the most upsetting event in my short life, but shit happens and its time to move on. Now i have a few questions...... 1. How much would it cost for a r33 shell with no motor and transmission in it, as all the stuff in my car is in perfect working order. and only has 92,000 on the clock! 2. How much would a 180sx rb 25 conversion, i do have a budget but would be willing to spend a little for and nice ride 3. Would i be better off buying a new r33 and selling mine for parts, and if so how much can i expect to get. it was a series 2 r33 gtst with 92 on it, all the motor, transmission and right side of the car works and looks like new. 4. and last of all..... long story short i lost control and ended up sitting in the right hand lane of the 3 lane hwy, was sitting there for close to 10 seconds when i was hit in the side and that was what wrote off my car, now quiet a few people have told me if i was to take the guy to court it would be an easy win as he wasn’t watching the road, i might be charged with neg driving but i should be able to get my money back....... just wanted to see if that sounds correct to you guys or if its a total load of shit. and just incase anyone was wondering.... no i wasn’t insured

  5. hi guys I have had my r33 gtst for 4 months now and have started looking at r32 gtrs. I have raced a few.... well tried to race and im sick of getting left behind, way behind. I want something a faster and this is the logical next step. just wondering how many psi gtr stock turbos can handle, and how many KW's they are good for at the wheels. Mainly interested in how many KW's they can make on a safe everyday tune. i know they are getting old, and i dont want stupid 400 kw power, but i just want to know their limits. i have searched but could really find the conclusive answer i was after. thanks guys

  7. hi guys looking at buying a turbo but im starting to think that it may be a little to big for my power goals. i am looking for about 230kw, just a nice street car.i have a front mount, pod, full 3 inch zhorst, fuel pump, boost controller......... will be getting either an emange or remap(not sure yet) and maybe injectors.the question is this turbo way to big for my power goals? oh by the way i drive an 1996 r33 sII gtst.any advise would be great, thanks guys Garrett T04E Turbo. The turbo has a .50 a/r comp cover and 1.32 a/r externally waste gated turbine housing 6 bolt outlet with T3/T4 flange. Compressor wheel has a 53.5mm inducer and 82.5mm exducer with 29mm tip hight (5mm higher than the to4b wheels). Has a oil cooled bearing housing and a large trim turbine wheel.

  10. i can see that most ppl dont think much of the kkr brand... im looking at buying another cheaper turbo brand this weekend and wanted to know what u thought about it....... kkk k27 hi-flow turbo, T3 flange, pretty sure its a .63 compressor housing, made 320rwkw on an rb20det HKS 38mm wastegate in excelent, came off the same combo as above would be buying both,would this be a good set up on my r33? i have a full 3ich exhurst, front mount, pod, fuel pump, greddy boost controller, and emange ultimate on the way and will be buying bigger injectors very soon any advise would be great

  16. hi guys was just looking on ebay for a new turbo for my car, im looking for about 225-240kw and found this.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MonstA-T3-T4-INTERN...1QQcmdZViewItem now... will this even go on my r33 gts-t? and if so, will it just blow it up? i know it must be crap, and i wouldnt expect to last more then 6 months but it could lead to some sort term fun any advise would be great, as i dont want to hurt my car....... or if you could point me in the right direction would be even better, as in what new turbo set up i should be looking at. thanks guys

  18. apexi safc2, i dont quiet understand what they are.... im a noob. is it like a new ecu? like a power fc? does it really help, and is it worth the money? and how easy are they to install and tune???? and thanks guys for all your help, im learning alot
  19. well that was 2 very different responses....... next step was a electronic boost controller and spitfire coil pack then a good tune........... im not after massive horsepower just a quick safe daily drive that wont be breaking down every second week and need alot of money spent on it. and another question as well, my car is a 1996 sII r33 gtst, is awesome condition with 88,000 on the clock. i paid 10,000 for it, is that crazy cheap??? cause i can find anyting close to that price anywhere
  20. hi guys, after months of looking i found my dream car. a 1996 sII gtst, and im in love with it. it has coilover suspension and a great exhaust system.... but im not sure what to do next?? i have a just jap front mount intercooler, a 3a pod filter, and turbo timer on the way. but i am worried that these new mods will just cause turbo lag with minimal horsepower gains??? because i have already bought them its a little to late but i was just wondering if i have made a bad investment?? any advise either way would be great thanks kyle

  23. they both have about 87,000 kms........... and one is in sydney, the other is near melb. and im in canberra, thats why i was asking for some advise. because its a long way to go for a test drive... if the car is a shit heap
