i remember that cop, he followed me all they way from warrnambool to terang on xmas day. i didnt realise it till i saw him suspiciously tailgating me. i promptly turned off after that
  6. i noticed a big diff going from my NA-T back to NA haha! and that was without a tune in the NA-T state...even still, for a fairly stock 2.5ltr 6 im happy with it. after all, it gets me from work to home to my girlfriends house everyday. one day when i have more many and a garage id get a turbo, but for now non turbo suits fine. plus it sounds a fair bit tuffer than a turbo(}tho i do miss the burble of the turbo ) at the end of the day, like a few other people whov posted in this thread, i love my NA 33, sure there are newer, quicker, more expensive options, but this suits me just fine, and imo looks great. it still turns heads, even if it is 15yrs old
  7. maybe if it was stripped....even still the suspension would hold it back. i dont think any commodore 6 pot, pre VS would be faster (in a straight line), the ecotec motors were considerably better than the original buick plants.

wait, you were in town and you didnt tell me TJ?
  9. bump, PM me for prices now as i cant edit the first post, most stuff i have knocked half the original price off
  10. as said above ^. unless your R33 ECU is chipped you cant modify fuel maps etc. on a non-turbo, not really worth it (unless youv done some serious work, ie cams, internals, stroked etc)

keep seeing a silver R33 GTST S2 around warrnambol, has the styled nismo sticker on the LHS side skirt. parked next to me when i was at gateway the other day
  12. sizes did seem to be smaller than average like an S would be an XS, M would be S, etc...
  13. all its a matter of doing is unbolting your old headers and bolting the extractors on in their place. should just bolt straight onto the existing cat...im not sure if supras are any different to skylines but yeah. as long as youv got some muscles and a bit of time on your hands you could do it yourself, provided of course you had a pit/hoist. and be careful to not snap any studs of in the head
  14. ^ also meant to say afaik the DKNEs are better designed
  15. yeah, there was a failed group buy for cobys just recently, i know theres been a DKNE one tho. all reports iv heard say that the DKNE ones are as good if not better constructed than the cobys...its a tough decision
  16. the enkeis are probly as close as your gonna get to R33 GTRs. you could go with something like what iv got, same concept, just looks a bit different, and with more dish
  17. cams + remap i rekn. maybe even ported+polished
  18. well im in talks with the guys at partsco now. gonna cost around $700 NZD (around 500~ AUD) for the headers + HPC coating. so not too bad. and coby have been made aware of having to grind the welds down so hopefully they have been remanufactured...gonna start investigating with DKNE tho
