  1. you arnt able to track down the HKS Silent Hi-Power to suit 33GTST are you?
  2. after an S1 GTST AFM to suit my ECU. NA one is maxed out with the turbo, and doesnt match up with the ECU. so need to upgrade open to offers also if anyone has a R33 steering wheel that originally had the airbag in it but does not anymore, in decent nice, im interested. aswell as a front strut brace, rear too if its a good price cheers, josh

  4. the 33 GTST stock turbos are reliable at 10-12PSI afais. mainly on RB20s as there isnt as much stress on them as they dont spool up as quick as on the 25s. its when you go to 14 that you start having reliability issues. Dan, are you saying having a larger dump/front pipe reduces detonation? (makes sense really when i think about it)

  6. hmm...food for thought. what fuel pump are you running? organised a mate of mine to do the timing once i get hold of an AFM (hes got a turbo one so we'l see if it makes any diff) hes done mine before when it was still NA and man it made a diff, so hopefully hel work it again but will keep your suggestion in mind. how much did it set you back?

  9. bump: wanna sort this issue out before it gets too far down the track... one thing iv noticed is that when the car is given a boot in the morning (usually atleast 5-10minutes after starting) it doesnt pop/splutter, or in other words ping. at all, when pushed above 4.5k rpm. i only did this a couple of times to test the theory that maybe once its at normal temp (past the stage of using the automatic choke) the ECU leans out the fuel mixture too much once it hits 4.5k. if i can track down a GTST ECU and confirm that they are indeed different and talk to the ECU differently, hopefully its gonna start me on the road to solving these problems, along with a retune of the ECU (if thats possible, i dont really want to go down the road of aftermarket ECUs considering im running stock gear) could it be anything else though? also going to track down a bosch 040 to be on the safe side.
  10. im chasing one of those exhausts for mine atm. current setup is a custom made mandrel bent 2.5" system with twin tips. when it was non-turbo it sounded awesome tho, without the drone in the cabin 1 glasspack mid muffler and one rear straight through

  12. yeah man i hear you with the S1/2 ECU. i know for a fact that with a S2 ECU, the fuel pump doesnt even prime. are RB25 ECUs able to be remapped? what have you done to yours J3TR33?
  13. another question...will a GTST AFM be plug and play on my wiring loom? assuming i put the GTST ECU back in....like i wont need to redo the loom or anything? (heard it from a mate, hes a bit dodgy tho)

  16. what would be the better option out of these two to replace my pump? R33 GTR or Bosch 040? i know 040s have been done heaps, but what about GTR ones? any hassles?
  17. for a full set of skyline ones would cost about $2k (for an R33), thats genuine nissan, cant find elsewhere unless its secondhand

  22. basically after the chrome S badge that goes on the grilles of the first batch of R33 GTS(t)s produced. the red one on my grille looked gay so i painted it silver, looked ok till it got chipped a couple of weekends ago along with the nose of my car -.-. am willing to take complete grille if you cant be bothered ripping badge off see example below.... open to offers, cheers
