    yeah picked up some sikaflex today from bunnings. by the grommets and plastic clips, you mean these? (see attached) the ones that go from one face of the skirt to the other? how do they mount onto the car itself... im guessing that for the mounts that go under the car, il need to drill into the floor of the car or?

    mates R32 lost its speedo+odometer the other night after hitting a level crossing (far from being actually level) at high speed. he seems to think the type-Ms had a digital speedo, can anyone actually confirm this? and what do we need to check in order to find out the fault. the speedo cable underneath the gearbox has been re plugged in before anyone asks. cheers

    what do you mean when your on your greens you can drive any?

    post a pic of your CAI setup darrell. stock airbox with a highflow filter (K&N) works well. that or a setup similar to that one, but maybe with an enclosed box. a few peeps on here make their setups and sell them as a kit

    yeah i was, ended up heading down to melb to pick up some side skirts on one of my rare days off work . next time round il be all kitted up tho and yeah thats where it was. the whole day sorta melded into one blur of driving (8hours up and back of straight driving does that, not spirited enough ) what was the weather like in port campbell anyways? it seemed fair dodgy...

    now im really kicking myself i couldnt make it. seems there was tits and arse action apparently? il deff make the next meet tho, with new skirts (the only reason i didnt make it this time)

    have got the skirts home today, given them a quick cut and polish. looking good so far. theres some residue from double sided tape and seals etc... and a few more bolt holes than i was expecting. can someone please give me an idea of what tape / seals are neccesary? someone whos put kits on before. im guessing theres a special tape needed for them not to come unstuck?

    what wheels are you running? getting sidewall flex usually means that the tyres are too fat for the rims

    imo youl need another muffler, cos as i said the drone was unbearable, and youl prolly more likely to get EPA'd. otherthing is too it sounds just like a VL commodore with just the one muffler...quite gay. im kinda regretting getting the second one put one cos since then iv gone turbo and could prolly afford to delete a muffler (turbo hushes things down quite a bit)

    have got a set of side skirts lined up for my car. only trouble is itl take a daytrip to melb to get them. could someone with these skirts post up some pics or something showing where they mount and how? i know theres deffintely bolt holes in the front wheel well (2 of them) but other than that.... just wanna know whether il have to transport them home in the passenger seat for the time being cheers
