  1. iv got 18s on mine, but i think mine was lowered in japan so you know. yours looks more like stock height..17s look ok but 18s look perfect on a 33.. thats my opinion anyways. i still say go the apaches that cogs did...they just suit the car so well im constantly getting complimented for mine
  2. get the black ones man. if you can get the race in shadow chrome tho, do that, itl look mint trust me. but blacks always a winner, white looks a bit cheap and nasty imo, and on that design doesnt work well...
  3. they way to tell if its a GTS4 or not is on the dash there will be a light for "SLIP" and "4WD" (not 100% sure on the later) they should come on when you start the car. the attesa on GTS4s isnt active 100% of the time, its more or less like stability control, whereby itl only engage if the ECU can sense a lack of traction alternatively you could look for the front driveshaft

  7. tbh id look elsewhere. itsa good buy but would be shit on your car. i run 18x8 with +38 offset and its sits real nice. so anything around that ballpark figure is what you want. anythingx8 with +30 to +38 would look nice, 7.5 is just too skinny for an R33 imo tho. moar grip = win
  8. the other thing i must add...especially round here atleast. some of the bogans with fkn commodores whov got their license (reds) are TERRIBLE drivers. i remember when i was sitting at an intersection at the bottom of a hill waiting to go, this idiot just glides along, turns left without even indicating, goes wide and nearly takes out my mirror...thats the part i dont get how do people like that pass...its just retarded...maybe its just luck of the draw..we shall see. 3rd times a charm right? (PM sent to flying fridge)
  9. sorry for all the confusion...it is indicating left when exiting the roundabout after having made a right or U-Turn that vicroads PDF summed it up on page 95 as Wheezy said... it wouldnt be so bad if i could get a retest sooner than almost a month away...disadvantage of living in the country i spose..limited to other places that you can be tested at.. i just think that more leway should be given, instead of 1 crit in the first stage, 2, and instead of 2 in the 2nd, 3..we all make mistakes once in our lives, and when your under all that anxiety it just makes matters worse....-sigh-
  10. is it me...or is the new license testing TOO strict? dont get me wrong, from hearing stories of past P Platers going for their Ps, it has been improved alot where it should have, but maybe too much? it seems to me that you must be a PERFECT driver to pass....really...and i dont know if its just where im doing my testing or my instructor or what it is...but iv failed twice for mediocre reasons. first part of the test goes for 10minutes, only aloud 1 critical error (not indicating left when turning right at roundabouts, headchecks, all the usual road ruley stuff) then second goes for 20 and your aloud 2 on my last test i had 3 criticals on stage 2, therefore i failed.. they were a couple of headchecks when changing lanes on the highway (where i used my mirrors anyway) and not indicating left at the roundabout when turning right... now dont get me wrong, iv been told im an excellent driver, by my parents, mates, instructor and even the tester(s)...yet i still dont have my ticket... you may say that its all fair enough, and is made to elliminate the bad drivers on our roads...but honestly how tough is too tough? im so over the system...and as the saying goes, nobodies perfect your thoughts?

  15. how much for the front strut brace if it hasnt been sold? is it still straight after the accident (ie not bent etc) pics look ok.

Rob, you should consider a Coupe style lip for your 31...might just finish it off i rekn, or it could ruin it...but no matter how many times i look at your car tho it instantly strikes me as a coupe, very neatly done 31 4dr thats for sure did you get hotplates or are they standard Silhouette tailights?
  17. have you got the plastic garnish that covers the inside of the boot, in between the tailights pretty much. has the boot latch in the middle of it? cheers
  18. Eug, car looks tops, and no it doesnt look too low imo. theres certain angles it looks its best like side on any lower and youd have no front bar

    Spotted a black R34 GTT cruising the main street of Warrnambool on sat, also later on saw a black R32 GTSt with black driftteks, looked tuff...had nismo stickers over it too...
  20. what diameter are the wheels? they look tuff tho.. and what skirts did you buy? theyl make the car look lower no doubt..photos dont do mine justice either, looks alot lower in real life

  22. UPDATE: limped the car to an auto electrician today, have been quoted $340! to repair the alternator....this doesnt sound normal to me at all...considering i couldv picked up a replacement for $50-$100 on here...is this way overpriced?
