i bought my GTS from a dealer, $11,990. 94 model with 86000ks on the clock. car is in mint condition, only slight blemishes here and there. considering its 14years old i think i did pretty well...constantly getting compliments. tasteful mods can increase value depending on what they are, i bought mine as a dead stocker + exhaust. new sound system goes in this week and got my wheels last week, extra tinting next week. washed every fortnight, always shiny i wouldnt pay less than 9 or more than 13. you get what you pay for.

mines 7250, thats a R33 motor tho with VCT. non-VCT could be different

as long as you keep your stockies you should be right if you get defected. just slap em back on till you get it cleared then put the wider rims back on. or do as someone sugested and buy yourself a GTR tyre placard from nissan (they have 8" or 9" as standard) to avoid complications

just been quoted for some nexen (roadstone) N7000s for my new rims. 235/40 R18, $210 per tyre (so $840) anyone had any experience with nexen or the N7000s specifically? or recommend any better tyres for that price. just for daily driving and the occasional bit of fun. cheers, josh

after the first part of my sound setup, indash LCD. all of the pioneer/alpine etc LCDs are way too frikn expensive ($1000+) came across a jensen equivelant the other day in a repco catalogue, this one http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=19394 the VM9212. all looks well and good, has all the in and outputs i want. just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with these units or the brand itself? il give a quick rundown of what i plan to achieve in the end: - Indash LCD, music being fed from an external Hard Drive media enclosure that comes wiith its own interface ( http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=7195 ) - new front/rear speakers (just the normal factory sized ones, not cutting any extra holes) - speakers powered from an amp mounted in the boot (if necessary) - 10/12" Sub being fed from a monoblock amp - new battery in order too i rekn lol. all this to go into a R33 coupe if anyone has any suggestions for me, and also any advice on the jensen hardware, let me know cheers,

just a question to everyone on the boards here whos upgraded their wheels to larger diameters than standard (id imagine most of you. going from 15 to 17s, 18s even, obviously the mathematics are that the larger the diametre, the more chance the ratio will be out and my speedo will become inaccurate. will it be dependent on the profile of the tyres? say if i used my curretn overall diametre including tyres and then minus the diametre of the new rim, then add the remainng diametre to the profile the new tyres qwill be? im just not real sure and need some opinion from people whov done this before. cheers

as long as your putting it on a GTR lol. i had a V-Spec sticker on my GTS when i got it..was half perished anyway but it looked so tryhard
