Josh, i have mixed feelings about your technique with your last 2 photos, the top one i really like but the bottom one i find it hard to look at. that just could be me and my eyes though. personally i like your idea but yeah i think it is a hit or miss with each photo.

Stienway I feel that those pics are too dark. cant really see anything but the lights and the wheels. not my cup of tea but im no expert. just my opinion.

Blue hour is that time of day at dawn and dusk where its not really day or night but its in between.

take 2. in the process i seem to have removed my other photo though. And just another one too

yeah just look at it now it is a bit distorted in the water part. will fix that up after work.

Not with those ones. I tried doing a bit with them but just made them worse. To be honest I think I should spend some cash and go do a Photoshop corse or something.

yeah its a good point you make,Here is a couple anyway, I dunno how you guys post them the way you do

just a couple of things. just looking at that last photo and the I notice the light beams off the neons on the top of some buildings. with my photos this is just a big blur of light around them. and second, when i done long exposures the photo is very bright. but i see yours has really nice colour with a nice dark sky still. i understand it probably comes with some editing, just was sure if you were using a filter of some kind to help with the end result.

Sidd were you using any filters? like an ND filter or something?

i had an awesome night, got some good shots, now just need to work on some post editing to see if i can improve them a bit
