hey guys just wondering if you have any suggestions for computer moniters that are good to use for editing photos?

personaly i like pull over hoodies, I also like the sound of a beanie. I think having the sau logo on the front and 4 red dots on the back to look like skyline lights. i will upload a pic when i get home as i was thinking of this idea a couple of months ago and was goingt o mention this to you nick. i also like the sound of long sleeve shirts too.

what program do you guys use for panoramic shots? i know it can be done in photoshop but photoshop is my arch nemisis at the moment and i was looking for something else to use.

i shall be heading home to cooma. will be good to be in the country for a few days, i'll get to do some long exposures of the night sky, so many stars should look great. and heaps of stuff to take photos of, plus a little birdy told me that im getting some new camera gear from the misses for christmas too, so that will be fun.

bit delayed in responding to your post Nick but yeah that was my entry, i think i took about 100 different shots from all different angles till i got that one. i was pretty happy with it but there were some pretty good entries in there too.

problem is too many people buy these games be it forza or Gran turismo and think its going to be like driving the real thing. reality is ITS A GAME!!!!!! its still fun to have a play with even if its not spot on to real life. so get of your lazy arse and you do better if you think you can. Seriously if you like it you like it if not then dont play it its pretty simple really. Either way i like it, cant compare it to forza as i dont have an xbox so im happy with GT5,

yeah i was thinking of doing something for this, just waiting for my camera to come back, Also on another topic, im lookinf at buying a macro lens what is the difference betwwen a 100mm and a 50mm all i want to be able to do is take some close up shots of different things.

how is a HDR shot done in a single shot with RAW? and also to do it with multiple exposer shots what is the best program to use to achieve the end result?

i must say, these tyres are fantastic, i have had the same set on my car for almost 2 years and i still have tread on them and i have done a couple of track days as well with them, they are probably the best tyre i have ever put on my car. I would buy these buy i get a discount through my work on bridgestone tyres and get get them brand new for less than this but Free bump and bit of a plug to try help sell them. VERY WORTH THE MONEY

Hey Matt thanks for the tips. i agree about the flare this was one of my concerns about the pic. is this something that could be eliminated while taking the photo or something i would fix when editing the photo? in the second one i tend to agree with you,i think the sky needs a bit more detail, prob the only thing i would change. As im still so new to it all i need to getin the mind set that i can take more then one shot and edit them together to get the best result. Im still thinking its a point and shoot and that close enough is good enough. But hey still plenty of time for me to learn. And once again. thanks for the tips. John
