it's not easy to explain but the hill goes a very long way then flatens out so you have a very long clear view (they say you need about 2 football feilds to stop at 60km so i had about 10 veiw). the police car was the oncoming traffic & he was so far up the road he pulled over & waited till i went past. i just new he wanted to talk to me (why else pull over) but didn't stop because my home was about 2 corners away & he didn't even flash me until i almost stoped to enter my home. now if i was doing something that looked ilegal most police spin arround & hit lights he hadn't even done his u turn before i turned further up st. i posted not to wine or say gee wiss, but from info sarg told me true or not (your call) i thought others might wish to be aware.

i didn't mention it because the place i got my bike wheels done is a old friend but he is as slow as a squashed snail getting anything done & i don't know if he does car mags but his buss is spoked wheel repairs 9153 9700 peakhurst. he has strip tank & beed blasting then he sends away for powder coating (he has some person he uses but he tends not to let on because he wants money) before giving over your wheels to anybody ask to look at some they have done but most wheel repair places spray 2 pak & clear no powder coat. hope this helped.

just a word of warning about powder coating there are alot of places that do it but you really need to go to a wheel repair place who knows the right powder coater. reason powder coating is an art & if mix wrong or baked to long problems happen like chiping from stress (you know good powder coating when you can hit it straight on & it doesn't chip). also wheels need to be beed blasted (not sand) to give paint a good surface to grip (my ZZR1100 wheels are powder coated blue & you can smash then & no chips because they were done right)

you have to be joking right, come on have you read driver handbook. why do we have road markings like double yellow (no crossing lanes), etc. if you have only a 2 lane rd & markings in center of rd are broken lines you may cross if safe to do so (unless this isn't earth & i'm in a bad dream)

yes i did, before hill there is bends with double yellows (old man was doing about 10-15 through these) then as you hit hill double yellow stop & there are no road markings at all. i waited till double yellow finished put blinker on & overtook on his rhs (which is wrong side road) acc to about 50 & pulled back in (cops veiw was pass & pull in). there are side streets at top of hill but i was back in my lane before 1/2 up hill. his reason was someone could pull out of street top of hill but i shot that through the window when i said i never had to speed because of slow car & if that car wasn't there i would be doing 50 anyway so if car pulled out why would stoping time be any diff (he had no answer).

i really can't believe this but it happened so i'm passing on the warning. overtaking in a 50 zone (classed built up are) is now classed driving manner dangerous the police have been issued that offical mandate but nowhere is there any public knowledge of this. i know because i was pulled over outside my home because i overtook a old fart doing 20 in a 50 & i used blinker & didn't have to go over 50 because it was up a hill. cops were further up road did u turn & pulled me over & told me above & that they could book me. believe me i put up a major fight asking wtf & police in a nut shell said well we have been told this & it's not our problem the public don't know. I DIDN'T GET BOOKED BUT THIS IS JUST WRONG note i wasn't in my R33 i was in my work ute to boot.

7psi is stock max boost which works out to be 0.48bar (psi x 0.069=bar). 12psi from what i have read is ok for stock cooler etc.

it is standard din size (hight of stero) but length wise it's about 120mm & 30mm thick. just installed 1 in my R33.

this has happened to me last year only my car wasn't writen off & other party turned off a round about from inside lane & hit my rear drivers side (i was outside lane, 2 lane round about). other party was telling me it wasn't his fault & wouldn't give me his details so cops called. cops took his details for me & left with him also telling them i assulted him (took all my strength not to). due to both cars drivable told by cops to do self report which i new anyway. get call from insurance telling me there's a problem due to other driver saying not his fault. due to no witness insurance was holding up repairs until at fault driver could be proved but other party wouldn't admit fault & insurance wouldn't make a call so wanted me to pay excess. well i bought stat deck wrote out exacty what happened & where it happened in detail, drawing of road, copy RTA exit round about rule etc. also asking the question how could be at fault when my car was hit in rear driver side quarter & he was moving accross my lane to exit round about & if what he did wasn't his fault could i have there report in writing because i would like to run it by RTA. well due to detail i went to they ruled against other driver within a week. my hint put everything in writing & don't change story 1 bit from original writen on claim form. in your case it will go a long way if you go to cop station & talk to officer about what's happening expressing your concern how someone doing something wrong causing you hardship is turning into a case against yourself with bulshit witness account. don't go there dressed badly or with sun glasses on, infact if you have a grand mother take her with you & tell them your taking her shopping because you need them to know your a upstanding person.

It is against the law to swing away to avoid animals because of the risks involved. Do it & kill someone & your in a world of trouble.

everything should be ok because you weren't at speed or acc when it happened. if valve open on wrong stroke motor would seize due to piston hiting valve so if this happened you would have heard a crunch & starter motor wouldn't have the grunt to push past valve. new belt should be all it needs good luck.

This is the problem with our world we live in now lawers have destroyed fredom of speech you see it more & more everyday. I used a recomended workshop & if I listed the service I received then I don't think to many people who would read report would use that workshop. Had I been able to view both sides of the story I might not have got burnt (you can post good things but not bad)

To be really honest do you expect whiteline to say, well we have made you wait for ever but these other shocks will work if you want them. I wouldn't take what some girl on phone tells you I mean they tell you stories about delivery so I rest my case.

Sciby believe me I could have killed someone at whiteline not because they couldn't supply but because they kept telling me bullshit so my car sat on blocks for 6 weeks. I never got the pack because I would still be waiting like you but funny enough it turned out better because my car is the way I like it so I'm happy. I fitted bellow whiteline kit without springs & shocks king springs (listing GTR) lower car about 25mm damper adjustable Nismo shocks i find my ride is smoother than full whiteline setup (friend has it) & the only problem i have found is my tyres need upgrade.

Magman 2/21 Moxon rd Punchbowl 97092686 he is about 80-150 per wheel which includes colour or polish, cost depends on damage & he has 4 wheels for 5 working days. i will not recommend his work because when you do that something always go wrong, but he always has wheels there he's done to look at for examples.

police are that helpfull these days when it comes to real crime, that if they arrived on seen they wouldn't notice whats going on & start going over GTR for defects.

if you turn on your a/c does a pipe frost in engine bay, if it does then you still have gas in system but low (mech will tell by gauge line). If pressure in system you don't need to dump or vac system workshops do this because there not really ref mechs so it's a fool proof way to get charge right (they charge to sys spec with charging cyl). If you know a frig mech who has 134a refrigerant & access fitting it will cost you much less. I live in Syd & am always doing my mates cars & not very often does any other part of sys leak other than seal. car sys hold very little refrigerant so doesn't take much to leak before sys no cool. just for some info all car a/c sys leak due to belt drive & mechanical seal which is why as compressor gets older leaks more due to wear on seal with side loading (don't ever over tighten comp belt).

what i'm told is the pillow mounts that have been replaced from standard to better stronger items rattle due to stiffer mount.

I have just done the find some rear tyres on a buget thing in Syd & my take on things is this. If you buy Aus market tyres you pay big $$, where the Jap tyres that are imported are way less $$. When pricing it's some times hard to find dealer who has what you want in stock & will try to sell you something else so know what you want & ring round for stock before price. Tempe are bad on phone due to volume work they do so you have to go there. Ozzy are good with info & stock Yok's. I wanted 901's 265/35/18 which where $350 each from St George but they only had 1 so I ended up with LM 701's $300 (same compound diff tread pattern 901). I so far have twice the grip of last tyres so I'm happy.
