Howdy all. Could be a bit of a long shot but somebody here could be interested, or might know somebody who is, so here goes... I'm selling my MYOB Porsche Boxster S 3.2lt. I've had the car around two years, I bought it as a low kms (27k on the clock) example that had around 30k worth of Porsche factory options. Was owned by a dentist on the Goldy who only drove it on the weekends. Now owned by an IT gimp who also never drove it much. At the beginning of this year I bought a turbo kit from TPC Racing in the states. They sold a complete kit, and there's plenty of yanks driving around with these kits, lots of them doing a heap of track work. So I felt comfortable that my occasional freeway onramp squirt would be okay. Made 210rwkw, up from a stock n/a 139rwkw, so 50% more power at the wheels on 6psi. The left tip is a screamer pipe off the external gate. On boost, the car sounds obscene. Has a Greddy electronic boost controller, water to air intercooler which pumps water down to a centre radiator, Garrett ball bearing turbo, oil scavenge pump, and other associated hardware. Car has a pod filter located in the left side air intake, great for tripping out people with the compressor surge in their ear on gear change I'll do a straight copy & paste of the carsales info, however if any of you want more technical info, pics of the install or whatever then let me know. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=11594937

FREIGHT F.A.Q AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Damn replied to Gary2's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Another vote for Transdirect (www.transdirect.com.au). Each month we have a container arrive, with much of it forwarded on direct to our clients. We've used several freight companies in the past, however are very impressed with Transdirect & will stick with them. We've shipped literally 100's of items through them. They also have a Transit warranty, and carbon offset built in for no additional cost. You can use them for one-off orders, however if you do a lot of business you can get yourself an account and potentially even better rates. In all of my experience, Transdirect ARE cheaper than Airroad, and SmartSend. -
Fs: [vic] Manual Aristo - Black, Roof, Leather, 256rwkw
Damn replied to Damn's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I also have a front lip & sideskirt kit {Aeromagic} for sale too, and would be willing to do a deal should the potential buyer be interested: Showing on car, excuse camear phone pic... -
This could possibly the the first manual Aristo offered for sale! Anybody who has been in / driven the car will confirm having it as a manual totally transforms the driving experience. Certainly different from a Skyline and if you are right into them this might not be for you, however we're all into our Japanese cars, perhaps you know somebody who considered an Aristo but decided against them because of the auto gearbox. The car as I got it: .:. 1994 Aristo Series 1 .:. Emerald Black paint - aftermarket color, looks black but up close has a green metallic .:. Tan leather interior .:. Factory sunroof .:. Tein CS adjustable coilovers (Tien EDFC compatible!) .:. 17" Euroline rims, 235 front, 265 rear .:. LSD .:. Limo tint on rear glass .:. Xeon / HID low beam headlights (I would never have a car without these!) .:. Clear corners - clared turn signals in lights .:. White fog lights, not amber .:. Lexus badging front & rear .:. Rear boot garnish cover - blocks 'ARISTO' on boot .:. Factory rear spoiler What I have done to the car: .:. LED dash kit .:. Replaced blown 12" sub woofer with new Kenwood unit .:. FM frequency shifter installed to stereo .:. BLUETOOTH mobile phone car kit, you just jump in the car & it automatically connects Conversion to R154 manual .:. Box with remote shifter, overhauled (new bearings & seals) .:. New lightweight flywheel .:. New cusom made Exidy clutch .:. Clutch master & slave cylinders overhauled .:. Revised tail shaft balanced .:. Brake & Clutch pedals modified for even length & rest position .:. Replaced engine mounts, belts ** Original master cylinder retained (some conversions have removed these) ** no check engine lights ** cruise control / ABS / traction control all functional Performance .:. Zees System single 3.5" into twin 3.5" with large centre and twin cannons @ rear. Includes front pipe where compliance cat usually is. Deep note, nice burble @ idle & not too loud .:. MINES aftermarket ECU. Raised rev limit to 7,000rpm, removed speed & boost cuts. .:. APEXI AVCR electronic boost controller .:. APEXI AFC2 fuel computer .:. Trust Greddy Spec M front mount intercooler kit .:. POD filter Recently dyno'd @ Race Pace Motorsport in Bayswater [Dyno Dynamics] with 256.2rwkw @ 16psi, most cars here with similar power use more boost to achieve this figure. I'm offering the car for sale here early, for $17,990. This price is for the car *as is*. The car runs perfectly, and the only thing letting it down from being 100% is that it needs a minor paint tidy up, on the boat on the way over it copped brake fluid on the bonnet which stripped some of the paint off. If you think of the average price of a stocky being around $12,000 - usually not black, no leather, no roof, then look at the list of mods, then factor in the manual, that this car would be a good buy for anybody considering buying an Aristo with the intention to mod it. I can promise you that there is no way you could do anywhere near the list of mods for the price I am asking. BONUS: I have a garage FULL of Aristo spares. The new owner of the car can take as many or as little of these spares as possible, these spares include: .:. headlights .:. brake discs .:. brake calipers .:. suspension arms .:. stereo head unit .:. boot trim(s) .:. various ECU's, traction, abs, ECU, etc .:. auto shifter, surround, etc .:. window regulator, window switches, etc If you want these parts, you can have them, for no additional cost, sell them & make some money, keep them in case you need them Just paid 12 months rego, new brake pads, new front discs... Car is in VIC. Call me on 0419 569 022 [Daniel]. Selling only, no swaps! Note 'Aristo' not visable on rear garnish Note this pic was before the front mount went in. Note front bar requires paint. This pic shows the cooler, also showing a dummy fitment of a front lip I have (not fitted) HID's: Zorst: Pics showing gearbox after refurb: Dyno @ Racepace, note the long, flat curve!: Around the console I have a custom made piece of aluminimum, with a rubber gearboot to insulate against noise, then a normal boot, with a carbon shifter. I have removed the ashtray & have the Apexi AVR-R & AFC2 mounted there. Also we have modified the clutch & brake pedals so the height of them match. Because of the different (or lack of) mounting point for the clutch pedal, without modification the clutch pedal sits at a different heigh to the brake pedal, but not on this car

That's right, Aaron and myself came out & did a presentation to SAU-VIC Other than my Lambo notebook not liking the pics from the most recent DECA day, all went well

Machine translations are never ideal. With 2 million auctions on the site at any one time, that's no way known we could translate all that manually. All the auction pages are pulled in live. We have a link above the description for an alternate translation, using another engine which gives different results. FYI some common translations: Medieval times = second hand, used Daily throughput = Nissan Scenic mountain highway = Skyline scar = scratch bruise = dent You do get used to the Engrish and usually all the info you need is there. Also if you are ever not sure, flick us an email, we have further translating tools available at our end along with Japanese speaking staff who can assist We have seen many auctions go for well under what they used to go for, because of a decline in International competition on items. Basically less people bidding from overseas on stuff sees the auctions go for less than they used to, quite often making stuff cheaper than it was before the rate took a nose-dive. I guess like all auctions, you set the price you are willing to bid up to, and not go past it. Thank you all for the positive feedback, it is appreciated!

There are some real bargains to be had. Yes the shipping is expensive but your sending stuff from Japan to Australia, and it also has to go an extra step from the seller in Japan to our warehouse - this is why we charge shipping at cost - so you know your not being bent over here. Its like all auction sites, keep your eyes peeled and you will find bargains guaranteed!
-
The Japanese sellers will not ship internationally - which is why the rest of the world can't buy direct off Yahoo. Import Monster is like having a mate who lives in Japan. When you win an auction, we make contact with the seller, pay them and have them ship the item to our Japanese warehouse. From there, we ship them to you. Depending on which part of the world you live in (yes Monster is global) you have various shipping methods available. In Australia, we can ship items via EMS which is a priotity air method, trackable with insurance. EMS takes 3-4 business days once it leaves Japan. We also offer container shipping too, which is more suited to larger items like body kits, bonnets, sets of rims, engines, gearboxes, etc. All shipping is charged AT COST. No mark up, no handling fee. We have an estimater / calculator on every auction page that will allow you to check out various shipping methods available, so you can see what the final cost might be. Although we estimate what costs might be, you are only charged actual costs, so if something comes in cheaper than the site estimated, you win We also offer BUNDLED SHIPPING. Any estimates you get are based on shipping an individual item. We offer to hold your items are our warehouses for you, whilst you shop. When you have finished shopping, we will bundle items where possible to reduce costs to you. Lets say you bought some LED taillights, along with a set of badges. We could throw in the badges in the box the lights are packed in, effectivly removing the freight for the badges from that point forward. Once you have logged in, hit 'auction' then scroll down the category list to 'popular searches'. Unbranch Nissan, and hit Skyline 33 (or whatever category suits you). I just checked, the 33 search returned 8,351 auctions over 168 pages. That orta keep you busy at work

www.importmonster.com.au is proud to be a sponsor of Skylines Australia If anybody has any questions regarding our business, web site or Yahoo Japan in general, I welcome you to post here, or PM me. Thanks Ash, Fangers used to keep my busy enough but most of us are now driving more sensible cars... except for you actually!! Your probably one of the only ones who has more power now than a few years ago. Actually probably me too thinking about it

Looks like it is for CVT cars. Raises the point where the revs are held. I can't stand sites that make you sign up, but that site could save you money.
-
Pleased to hear the feedback thanks Everything is automated, you can place bids at at any time of the day, yourself. You can transfer money to us, via Paypal (bank account, credit card or paypal balance) any time of the day & automatically ends up in your account. If you are outbid, you are notified. You can track your orders, and automatically receive updates of when it arrives in our warehouse, and every other step of the way until it hits your door step. There's much more to the site than just browsing Once again if anybody needs some help with searching for something specific, just yell out
-
Okay. EMS items (sent via air) take on average 3-4 business days to arrive at your door once they are sent. Sometimes the Japanese sellers are very quick at sending the goods to us, other times they lag out a bit, it is best to assume it could be 2-3 weeks from when you win the auction. We're offering a Yahoo purchasing service, helping you purchase from Yahoo. We (like you) don't know the condition of the item. We find that the Japanese are usually honest in their descriptions, and when selling rims for example, ensure to take pictures of any damage such as gutter rash. So you are taking on some risk purchasing this way, however you are also saving heaps too. The choice is up to you
-
Chi, We require a 50% deposit in order to bid. So if you want to bid the equivalent of $100, you would need $50 in your account to bid. We're only talking the bid amount here, not the full price including shipping & GST. If your bid is unsuccessful, the deposit is returned to your Import Monster account instantly, so you can bid on other items, or request to get it back again (credit back to your bank account, paypal, credit card, depending on how you paid us). You only actually pay if you win an auction. In an ideal world we'd just run the honesty policy, but unfortunately not everybody follows it. If we bid on something for you, without collecting money, and we win the auction, and you change your mind, we are stuck with the item. If we just didn't pay, it would mud-up our Japanese Yahoo rep which has follow-on effects with future purchases. Hope that makes sense.

Here's a link that searches the entire site for the word 'Stagea' (get yourself a Coke / beer / whatever & get ready for several hours of browsing) http://www.importmonster.com.au/auction?ca...%BC%A5%B8%A5%A2 Around 9,000 items over 180 pages! Otherwise browse using the categories down the left side of this page: http://www.importmonster.com.au/auction Example, go into 'Interior Equipment' then 'Nissan' Or go into 'Intake & Exhaust' then 'Nissan' then 'Muffler / System' And search those categories (drop either of these in the search box): Japanese text for Stagea: ステージア Or put in: WGNC34 (or whatever model you have) Once again if anybody needs assistance with specific searches just yell out.

Wow another hater ... You said that there are very cheap prices available, but you are not sure if we are reliable? We are an Australian company, with years of importing experience. If you, or anybody else has any concerns about our company, you are welcome to direct those specific questions at me, or send me your number I'll give you a call You said there are better places & sites i.e. google? Nobody else does Yahoo purchasing like we do. There is not another site in the world that allows you to browse Yahoo in English, with all prices converted to Australian dollars, gives you the ability to watch items in real time, and bid, on the spot, around the clock. We re-display only the important auction info (such as pics and descriptions) and remove all the other non-important stuff like banner advertising, etc.

Howdy I posted a reply in another thread, and in the interests of not cross-posting, I'll just put the link here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ma...;gopid=3594517# I'll pass those comments onto Aaron Its true our commission is small & that is all we make, all shipping is passed on at cost.
-
Was doing a search on Google and this thread came up, thought I'd fill in some blanks pixel8r - I can only assume you have not even signed up & checked out our site, otherwise you would see there's quite a bit of difference between our site and the other companies offering Yahoo purchasing services. www.importmonster.com.au is not just a site advertising that we do Yahoo purchasing. The site is an entire Yahoo interface, acting as the 'middle man' between you and Yahoo. Our site translates into English, converts figures into AUD, allows you to estimate shipping & charges strips away all the non-auction related images, the additional links, the banner ads, etc. Our site has the ability to search, have your own watch list (that is updated in real time), and you can place bids, on the spot, round the clock. You can even receive email updates the moment you win an auction, or get outbid. The competition, get you to browse Yahoo yourself, and then send them a link manually telling them what you want. Too bad if it is 1:30am and the auction ends in 5 minutes If you used the monster you could place your bid any time you like. Nothing wrong with supporting the people who support you - that is an admirable trait. We have already contacted the SAU hierarchy about advertising on your forums As ali-turko pointed out, there is an estimator on every auction page. Note that we only make money on our commission, that's it. All freight charges are charged to you at cost. Some companies charge you a commission, then inflate all the shipping costs, and pass on the bank fees (we wear those). If the competition uses us to provide their services anyway, we can't be too bad then Although what we & others are offering is a 'Yahoo Purchasing Service' - nobody in the world has a site like ours A large amount of time and money has been invested into this project, and we're all pretty proud of it. There are already thousands of people using the site, we only launched it 6 weeks ago! If you haven't had a suss, check it out, if I can help anybody out with searching for something just yell out Daniel
