  1. from memory: once off installation fee and unit cost will be ~$1600 monthly payments ~$30 are they good. the new QT unit is supposedly better than the previous. coverage is apparently good for the sydney metro area. is carcom still running? could be another option if it is? i believe this was an NRMA initiative...
  2. heaps.

  6. yo guys. its 12:30am (just got back from a wedding) and im pumped for this morning... i hope someone has a size 17 socket so as i can take my wheels off, otherwise i'll be using some very ordinary brake pads! as duncan repeated, meeting point will be BP/Hungry Jacks on King Georges Rd, Lakemba at 7am- allbeit i feel as though this post is too late...should be on the track by 10am. i know of 3 other cars making it down. unsure of who else...

  11. KEEN AS NOW! am definately in for this. does everyone want to meet up at the BP/Burger King on cnr of King Georges Rd & Georges River Rd at 7:00am sharp? means we'll get down to Wakefield at around 9am. be on the track by 10am?
  12. where are the 34's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. planning on doing the same with the same car! power output for me is targetted slightly lower though - 250rwkw? but im looking for lots of bottom and mid range. for 250-300rwkw, neither the 2530 or 2540 will get you there. you are looking at atleast a low mounted HKS GTRS (i reckon good for about 250-270rwkw) or a top mounted 3037 or 3040. both should get you there.. are you okay with a top mount? you will need a custom manifold made up for it. as for fuel mods, definately! there's a general formula used to calculate the required injector size for the power levels you want i think 480 or 550cc injectors will be good enough for me, if you're looking at more, you'll need 750cc i reckon. you'll also need a bigger fuel pump and possibly rising rate fuel regulator. you will most definately need to budget a clutch and larger air flow meter and possibly throttle body.
  14. it all comes down to how much you can afford i think - have you thought about insurance? or if something breaks?
  15. 32 for track 33 for drag computer interaction? i can't wait to get into a evo lancer...theres nothing wrong with computer interaction
  16. lol @ duncan i can just keep up with an E46 M3 with my slightly modded ER34. they are quick. i just wanted to get that off my chest. S15 will own all of them.
  17. heh, funny you say that andrew, because thats exactly what my friend did to his date in my car LOL

as i said....you do not need to replace the guards on a GTT to do a BNR34 front conversion, and the GTT and BNR34 headlights look identical .... as far as i can see, they are definately not BNR34 front guards... GTT:
  19. LOL. duncan you must be bored at home. i hope you goto work soon
  20. i've been in an xr6t and it felt like a modern falcon with velour interior and different colour gauges. they are two different cars for two different people. whilst the xr6t has heaps of potential, so does the gtt. i am biased because i own a gtt, i dont think id even consider an xr6t unless i was a family man. i just dont consider them to be a sports car (yes you can also question the sports car tag of a skyline) especially given an xr6t's weight.
  21. hahaha, ok.....i might have been confusing everyone here including myself! doh! see how little knowledge is often dangerous!!! okay...the racelogic system is essentially an adjustable traction control system which uses ABS. for the traction control module, you can control how much slip you want, ie. 0%, 10%, 20% - whatever. this obviously pre-determines your over or understeer characteristics in corners. for the launch control module, it is essentially how duncan puts it, a rev limiter which utilises its traction control logic. ie. you still need to determine what percentage of slip is the "optimum". my bad
