  5. evoiv you're correct when you say its probably not worth it to get a 2530 when you're realistically only gaining 50kw on top of a standard turbo. but having that said, i am on the same notion as turbotits...i only want 230 or 240rwkw because i want to: a) keep it highly responsive B) i think anymore power in a rear wheel drive, whilst being utterly fun, is utterly pointless! traction would be an absolute joke. c) whilst its only potentially a 50kw gain on a standard turbo, you know reliability at this level is far greater than that of a standard turbo.
  6. rwkw = rear wheel kilowatts ie. power at the wheels. its not another measurement of power to get hp at the wheels convert rwkw to hp using kw to hp conversion calc. to get hp at the crank, then add about 50kw to the rwkw figure and then convert to hp using kw to hp conversion calc.
  7. i still keep in touch with some of the wrx'y boys and they're organising a large cruise down to macquarie pass...some big numbers involved would be very fun...i think a fair few evo's are coming out to play too... all details here (all 9 pages of it) lol... http://www.wrx.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?...der=asc&start=0 i'll be making an appearance, any of you guys interested in joining me to wave the Skyline flags!?!?!?
  8. yeah my bad. since we were talking conversions to manual, i just thought we were talking about the manual box...
  9. ... merli and miz33t are the cars i am referring to - and i'm also referring to manual boxes...???
  10. errr, start believing mate. i know 2 x GTSt's, one close to 300rwkw and the other just over 300rwkw. its not a subaru.
  11. all the best dude. i guess if you do one, you might aswell do them all! whats the plans IF the pistons are rooted?
  12. yeah, i was just informed the same thing it looks like im going to have to get the camber bush...
  13. does anyone have camber adjustable strut tops for their skyline? whiteline have told me i need a kit and that adjustable strut tops cannot be fitted to a skyline - and i find this a) hard to believe and B) quite disappointing!
  14. doesnt sound the best there brendan! how does the car feel with low compression 4 cylinders!? how does it sound at idle!? is it even runnin!?!?!
  15. i got a GTT because a year ago 33R's were over 50k. Bang for buck you can't beat an R, but i have no regrets with the 34... now to rob some bandwidth and show you some eye candy.
  16. standard gearbox at 230rwkw is still ok (obviously depending on how you drive it). i know of r33 gtst's with close to 300kw with standard boxes...
  17. lol....mario out of cash? i dun think so latest i heard was that because noone bought it he was rebuilding the engine with forgies, etc etc. ... because he can
  18. keep the auto ecu. tuned slightly different to the manual.
  19. buy WARIO: http://exvitermini.com/forsale.htm http://exvitermini.com/pr34.htm or SWOOP: over 100k.
  20. no probs ben, it all depends on how much boost you want to run. the er34 turbo is known to not be able to handle excessive boost, but the advantage it does have is its minimal lag.
  21. im after some stocky wheels from an R34 or an R33. please let me know if you have any to sell. cheers,
  22. are you interested in a stock turbo from an ER34!? how much are you willing to pay?
  23. yes....hrmm interesting thread, same thread is going on in performance forums... id take both cars, but i need a daily driver thats kinda practical aswell, so i'd take the R.
  24. i only like white and white or white and yellow - but im biased
