  1. i endorse street pads that work first time, everytime. rb's dont have the same cold bite as ultimates, if you fade ultimates then IMHO your going way to hard on public roads. i have RB74's for the track, and ultimates for street.
  2. i had the "fullworks" kit fitted to my WRX and im close to doing something similar with the ER34 soon. I was really happy with the kit. Ride wasn't bad, passengers would often go unnoticed of the firmer ride on distant trips (to the snow for eg). Going through the nasho, the suspension was never unsettled by the bumps - everything just worked well. on the track, the WRX had *better* turn in, considering its an AWD car and camber settings were totally nuetral (i went for best tyre wear ), but it had a tendancy for oversteer with some throttle control. i was managing 1:12's on RSpec tyres in this configuration but with some more tuning to camber i reckon i could've dropped by another 1 or 1.5 seconds with better turn in...

  6. yeah absolutely...he has the farken good gear too. his lens was about as long as my arm, Nikon D100.....can't ask for much more, except for a D1 i guess im gonna get Gav and Mark to come to next track day, so make sure ya'll come!
  7. yeah. probably was. was i going west or east?
  8. lol. im no drift king. that was the quickest line in my car! yup. stock rotors, stock tyres. rb74 brake pads...pads and rotors were fine. good for atleast 5 hotlaps at wakefield. tyres were shitty after 3. it rained in the arvo at about 3pm, but up until then it was beautiful...in the wet i think alot of people pushed harder than they should've
  9. yeah i know, i was only having a dig. i know an integra type R doing 12's at wakefield. i think thats about their limit, from there its all about HP... just ask Takumi
  10. duh! who reads sticky's anyways!!! sounds good, $120 bucks is ok, but i dont wanna scare those little honda's
  11. HCC? honda car club? im in for a trackday at wakefield. as long as its cheap and as long as i have some new mods by then
  12. hi silvo, sorry mate, i gotta say those pics are pretty average. i mean there are some nice ones, but maybe its due to a lack of experience/equipment? let me show you what i mean...and this was only a very short photo shoot... http://www.gavincato.com/gallery/franky how much do you charge for personal photo shoots? its not mentioned on your site...??? here's a personal photo shoot i also quite like: http://www.markpakula.com/cxr6t/
  13. can we see some sample shots!? would also like to get an idea as to how much you would charge for a day? i was just down at Wakefield Park for a private trackday last week, a mob called Oz Events had a photographer there, a cd of original pictures of your car was at a semi decent price... the other good thing was that they had the shots for you to sample before you buy...
  14. i spotted a black ER34 in a caryard on parrammatta rd this morning and what looked like BNR34 wheels on it too! might check it out on the way home...looked pretty schmick!!!
  15. thanks for the comments guys, yeah the shots were crazy nice. gav was only there for a coupla hours too! lucky the ones he took were of high quality! hah, it seems that way doesnt it nissaner?! lol ... atleast someone picked up on the MY34 dunno why but that just seemed to be better than ER34 swoop, yeah i was a little hesitant to bring it out, but at the end of the day i was there to have some fun and maybe be not as competitive as the others. but i was running unofficial low 15's so i was happy considering they were street tyres and stock suspension....next time it should be different gav uses a Nikon D100 and the size of his lens was about as long as my arm. some really nice equipment so yeah, really really nice results...
  16. went to wakefield park for a trackday today and it was friggin awesome.....the first time out in a RWD and i must say i havent had that much fun in a long long time.....the rain in the afternoon also helped as i got some dorifto practise anyways, i managed to get a hold of my friend and personal photographer gavin from www.gavincato.com and here are some shots - thanks gav!

    Buying R34

    only in melbourne
  21. strategically in the glovebox
  22. never seen the super cheap auto ones, but i bet they are super cheap im going the factory look. i like quality toys theres another company that does cruise control, i'll dig it up, and they have the steering wheel mounted ones. the rostra seems like they endorse the stem and the steering control unit is an addon or something.
  23. nooooooooooooo dont go down the sticker way!!! just lower it. front mount, boost, ecu management. done.
  24. ninjadust this car looks really nice. very clean with a good set of mods. the reason why i went for the R34 was because they are relatively rare, my particular one had a really nice set of wheels, a bodykit, and a couple of mods but most importantly it wasn't 10 years old. i just dont have the budget to rebuild an R32 GTR if it need be - so the risk wasnt taken. in hindsight, i think i've still done the right thing but a GTR is a GTR and there are definately some nice examples out there. but back to you, what are you after? a daily driver? a 10 second quarter? a track car? a race car? some street presence? practicality? if your prepared to spend 40k i would consider an R32 GTR with a few mods! 40k could also get you a relatively clean R33 GTR if you looked and bargained hard enough? i dont think 40k is too much to ask for this example at all. it has low genuine (?) kays on it and it looks really clean.
  25. try this product, from all reports its pretty good. about 1k from memory. i havent personally had experience but im looking into it... http://www.rostra.com/
