R34 Plazmaman Plenums Hp Out Put?
Lukas 33 replied to dsrturbo's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes catalytic Converter. Ah ok no cat....hmmmm. Have you tried seeing if it makes more power when you disconnect the exhaust from where the cat used to be? How bad is the pressure drop over the intercooler? -

Yeh dont take the exhaust off at the turbo and test haha. I also think that the 0.82 will restrict you from that power level. Are you 100% sure they aren't running a 1.06 rear housing or something? Have you checked that your cat hasn't collapsed? -

You are expecting to get 380+rwkw from a GT35R with a 0.82 rear? Is this a Rb25/30 or just an RB25? -
Yeh well I think 3.5" is the go if it will be legal. I will see how the stock exhaust goes and maybe I will just get it tuned mildly until after the christmas and new year are over. Will update this thread with how the exhaust holds up for future reference. Thanks ash

It should look some thing this and be just in front of the suspension strut on the passenger side (assuming it is like r33)
-
Cant help you out sorry as I have an R33. But I will have a hunt around for some r34 engine bays to see if I can highlight it in a pic for you

It really depends. How much power you are looking for man? I would go a MAP sensored ECU to avoid having to uprade the MAF everytime you want more power etc. But you will definately need a better fuel pump. Some nismo injectors as everyone else has suggested (only because of their spray pattern and they use stock wiring harness) and of course a bigger turbo. An easy bolt on HKS gtrs would be perfect. PM-R33 who just posted before me make between 260 and 270kw with it and it is very responsive. Unless you are talking bigger power then I would go the HKS 3037 or something around that area. But like I said it depends how much power you want to make and if you want it responsive or not. There are SOOOOOOOO many things you could spend the money on. Ive already put a shit load into my car and Im still putting together shopping lists Lukas

Thanks for that Do you know if the rail is 11mm or 14mm?
-
no one?

And how much would a 3.5" system be? I dont think it would be worth going 4" unless I decide to go crazy and get a t04z
-
Oh ok so I should be right putting a 4" exhaust from the turbo back? Just didnt know how i would go getting it down the little hole in the engine bay or how a 4" exhaust would go when the turbo outlet is only 3" Is it even possible to get a legal exhaust at 4"? f**king didnt budget for a bigger exhaust. Fcuk! How much do you think a 4" inch system would cost to get put in? Might have to pull some money out my a$$ by the looks of it

Do you mean the stock boost solenoid?

Hey guys I was looking into getting an inline 3" varex put in the car so it wasnt to loud around town etc however I have a 3" back to just after the cat where it splits off into 2 2.5" (so it looks). It is an r33 gtst s1 with an rb25/30. I am looking at making about 360kw or so and was told that my 3" wont be up to it. The turbo is a GT35R with a 0.82 rear. It has a 4 bolt 3" outlet. I currently have a 3" front pipe from turbo to cat, a hollowed out 3" cat and then the two 2.5" pipes onwards. I was looking into just getting a 3.5" cat and 3.5" cat back exhaust and putting in one of the inline 3.5" oval varex somewhere in there. What I would really like to know is will the 3" pipe from the turbo to cat and then the 3.5" cat and 3.5" cat back be fine to support that kind of power? I was reading on these forums that 3" would be fine but then others say it wont so Im stuck in the middle. What exhaust would you guys recommend from cat back where I can just cut in and add the 3.5" inline oval varex. Cheers Lukas

Hey guys I am looking at getting some top feed injectors for the 25 in my r33. The injectors I would like to get are either the HKS 1000cc ones or the Injector Dynamics 1000cc ones. Myself and mechanic are still deciding. I have heard good things about the Injector Dynamics ones so lets start from there. I know the 25 in the r33 it side feed and know the Injector Dynamics ones wont just bolt in. The Inj Dyn injectors come as 14mm but have adaptors to make 11mm also. The thing I was wondering is if I would be able to use an R34 neo fuel rail for these injectors and bolt that to my rb25. For references I have the standard runners with a front facing plenum on top. All help is appreciated Cheers

Looking For Local Info On Bosch Ev14 Fuel Injectors .

Yeh I was going to have to go a top feed but from what I can see Greddy only does a 10.5mm one for standard 25 runners. But yeh I am looking into other options for the top feed rail. Never thought about a 34neo.....will have a search Cheers -
This may sound stupid but maybe there should be extra measure put into place to avoid this sort of thing. Like before you are able to sell an item you have to speak to admin. Give them a copy of your drivers license and maybe something else like an up to date utilities bill and maybe have a quick chat online (with cam to prove that you are the person on the license). Then admin can make a little database with people who have been interviewed/scanned to show who are legit and who aren't. I know that probably sounds stupid and will probably be flamed. I also know that it would take some time. Cheers Lukas

Rb30det - Bosch Coils + R32 Igniter Wiring Issues
Lukas 33 replied to Finny's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I am not quite sure what you mean there. I get slightly confused when reading it. Are you able to repost up the little wiring picture to show how it SHOULD be connected so people will have an idea for future reference Cheers -

I was told that these injectors were very good by another person on these forums. I Would like to get some of them but I am not sure what fuel rail would suit. I have an rb25 head with the standard runners on it. Obviously its not going to fit in the stock fuel rail. Can anyone please suggest a good top feed rail that I can use for these injectors on my rb25 runners? PLEASE I think they are 11mm aren't they? Not trying to hijack your thread I just thought the information might also be usefull to other members out there who are considering these injectors. Cheers Lukas -
Did you mean Speed vs Power is useless. Or RPM Vs Power is useless. Coz you sound like you are disagreeing and then you agree? Im so lost

HAHAHA Fcuk its siht when its just something little like that and you just dont even think to check it. Ah well leasts its done

Ah ok yeh well closing the bonnet is a pain in the ass for a 3L. I guess the cheap way out is cut a hole in the bonnet. Or cut and shut. Has old mate thread started replied to any of this stuff? EDIT: Just realised he has only had two posts :S Might be that time of the year

What was the final price on that?
