Cheapest 320kw i can think of: Take your 25 apart. Get a $400 rb30. Keep the short motor. Clean up the surfaces on the head and the block. Get that head welded up. While the head is off take to it with a drill and tap in a little fitting to drain your oil back into the sump. Just T it into your turbo drain if you want. And bolt the rb25 head back on. Should be about $200 in labour for the tidying of the head. Use your standard manifolds and all that. Chuck on an XR6T turbo. Grab some 550 nismo injectors as they will just plug into your stock wiring loom. and put in an 040 fuel pump. Oh and grab yourself an ebay cooler and an rb20 ecu. Use a std nissan head gasket That is keeping things as cheap as I can think of.

Sard 850cc Injectors
Lukas 33 replied to Lukas 33's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Will do $850 with a nismo fpr already on the fuel rail. -
Update on getting my car legal: I spoke to the tuners today. They said that I should leave on the stock cat, connect up the carbon canister and put in the stock injectors and have a very very mild tune for when I go in for emissions. Dont know how that will go seeing as I have a 45mm wastegate with a 20psi spring. Maybe I could just take out the springs all together Does anyone have any other suggestions as for what I should do? I would love to try bribing but I doubt it will work

That is just amazing man. Great work on that. I would be keen to buy some rb30 pistons and some real strong oil pumps gears for when you get it all going Might even grab two sets of pistons just for spares at that price. Have you guys done anything with rods? I wouldn't mind seeing how a set of rods would go How are the weight tolerances on the pistons? -
Hey Guys I have my SARD 850cc injectors up for sale which are in the stock fuel rail. They have had VERY minimal usage. These injectors are for RB25DET. The reason I am selling it because I would like a bigger fuel system. I am looking for $700 Contact me via PM or sms on 0406895948. Cheers

Price Drop - $1400 -
Nope. I dont want to sound like Im making excuses either but I dont really have much time in my day when its mon-fri. You know any of them which are open on weekends?
-
Alright. But again I think I am retarded as I cant find it on their website. Anyone want to message me with the price for a V44 with upgraded map sensor, knock amp and inlet air temp sensor? I can get a link g4 plug in for $1200. But I will need to get an inlet air temp sensor, a better map sensor and still get the knock amp. Someone please hit me with some current values on the dam Vipec. Makes me cranky that I can never see a price for it. Everywhere I look it just says "POA". I understand prices fluctuate but PLEASE somebody give me a price. I guess I just want to be able to hop online. Fill up the cart with all the goodies and have the price right in front of my face and then have someone else foot the bill

Maybe you can swing buy and show me your new toy!..........ok that just sounded way too dirty when i read it out loud. Im sure you know what I mean. How much you want for it
-
Ah ok. Well I just spoke to the guy who I hope will give me mod plates and Im needing to pass emissions. Dont think I will go too well with the microtech on this set up with no cat or carbon canister :| So I think I will more than likely be upgrading all that stuff soon As I mentioned earlier I have been offered the LINK G4 plug in for a pretty good price. Is there any other reason other than support from Ray and the brand name that I should get a V44?. As for knock amps is there anything that you would suggest?

Just a bit of info for anyone else who is looking into getting mod plates for their car. I just rang up the engineer and he said that they can easily do rb25/30 here in Queensland. Just have to make sure there is 20mm clearance or hoses etc so there is no rubbing and that the car meets the emissions standard. The engineers do all of the emissions testing in house. The transport department has nothing to do with it. I phoned Queensland transport and the lady on the phone said that they do not do compulsory emissions testing to check your vehicles emissions, it is all up to the engineer who is inspecting the car and issuing the plate/certificate. I will obviously keep this thread updated with my progress on actually getting my modification plate. I now just need to look into getting a nice new cat to help clean up those exhaust gasses and look into fitting a carbon canister and getting the envirotune On a side not anyone who has a carbon canister with lines preferably that they want to get rid of Im all ears

I'm guessing you have the V44 plugin? ahhhhhh ok I thought quicktune was its own program or something. Makes a little more sense that it is opened up in the other software. What do you think of the wasted spark set up? Do you have any issues with it at all?
-
Ahhhh yeh I thought the name sounded familiar. I take it he doesnt do weekends? I have many phone calls to make when I get home Cheers man
-
First thing I would check are...... Do I have pressure in my fuel lines Are my injectors getting signal Is my CAS in the right spot Is my fuel shit and old and needs replacing Even if you had half decent fuel and the CAS was a little off it would start but it would run like crap. Does it try and fire at all or do you just keep turning and turning and getting nothing?

BUMP This set up with plug in adaptor and hand controller cost me around $2300 and is in perfect condition. -
Ah ok. Yeh I emailed Ray but I haven't got an email back about pricing for anything like that. Like extra sensors and so on. Everyone is saying Quicktune is free but I can't find it on the internet. I know Im probably looking in the wrong spot or am just too stupid to find it so could someone help me out with a hyperlink. I will just like to have a browse and have a look around with the options etc. Yeh I was looking over the techedge wideband as it has been suggested a couple of times Do you think the basic techedge wideband kit will be enough? I think it is accurate to +-0.1 between 11 and 17. Cheers for the PM. I cant call now or anything as Im at work and I dont wanna get it trouble for not doing anything hahaha........not that im browsing sau........ ANOTHER question coz im full of so many. The Link G4 plug in I have been told has 10 injector drivers and 4 ignition. So it fires injectors fine but runs wasted spark. Does the V44 plug in do 6 injection and 6 ignition? Everyone is telling me they are the same dam ecu so I just want to clear that little query up. Anyway I better get back to faradays electrolysis eqaution to see how efficient the cells are running :S Cheers Lukas

Have you personally dealt with him? Not saying he's not good or anything Im just curious
-
HAHAHA yeh Phil, care to share with the whole crowd on sau Almost finished it yet?

Im a bit lost on this. So the V88 comes with built in knock control? Can the stock knock sensors be wired straight to the ecu or would I need to get an amp for it? Also is the inbuilt MAP for the V88, is it any better than the V44 or is it all 2.5 bar absolute?
-
Hey Guys I have an rb25/30 in my 33 series 1. It has 850 sards, a gt35r and 45mm external gate (plumbed into exhaust). I am located in Townsville Does anyone know someone up here that would give me a mod plate? I'm not ONLY after some dodgy up cash job (although that would be nice). I am happy to go to a business and do it all properly I was just wondering if anyone up this way has gotten mod plates, if so what were they for, how much did it cost and who did you get it/them through? ESPECIALLY after anyone else who has done the twin cam 3L legally. Cheers Lukas

That car just blew my mind. Great work, bloody amazing!
-
O ok I thought such a nifty program would cost money Yeh someone told me I can just wire in another MAP sensor through the old AFM wiring. Have you personally had any dealing with a LINK G4 or ViPEC V44 plug in ecu? Would be interesting to see if the software for both works on either ecu. Yeh anyone who wants to suggest a good wideband please do Also just to keep this thread usefull for others. Anyone else who has been tuned post up your ecu and the cost and time taken Cheers

Hey Guys Up for sale I have my Microtech LT12S ecu. It comes with plug and play adaptor for easy installation 3 bar absolute MAP sensor and a Hand Controller. It is for R33 RB25DET. Reason for selling: I want something like a ViPEC V88 or a LINK G4 Extreme Asking Price: $1500 delivered. I am Negotiable but PLEASE no low ball offers PM me or SMS on 0406895948. SMS as I work all day and the boss doesn't like me talking on the phone. But an SMS during coffee breaks is fine
-
Now since it was mentioned about the ViPEC ecu and well Ive been looking at the V44 and the G4 (both plug in boards). Is their MAP sensors really limited to only 1.5 bar gauge (2.5 bar absolute)? Hey does anybody want to sell me a V88 with a plug and play adapter made up, a wideband and quicktune

Hey Dirt your inbox is full! Trying to PM you about widebands and all that lovely stuff
