O ok. I will try the permaseal one and see how it goes. If it leaks then I guess more money to shell out haha I have a question about the engine mounts again. I put the rb25 ones on and they look like they are sitting a little high on the exhaust side compared to the inlet side? Any reason why?

ok the customs has been thrown to the side and i put the rb25 ones it. They look a little small for it though. Like it would sit extremely high up

Hey guys I was wondering if I could steal some help Im putting my motor back together and noticed the intake gasket isnt looking too good. I rang around the local places like autobarn, repco and supercheap and they cant get them in. I couldnt see anything on Just Jap either unless I buy a full kit. I was wondering whether or not I can use the old stock gasket with a spray over or if anyone on here knows where to buy just the single intake gasket or has one left over from a VRS kit. ALSO I got an rb30 block to go into my car and I just noticed that the engine mounts have been "customised" by the guy I bought the block from. Would I be able to put my old ones from my rb25 onto the rb30 block or just use some rb30 ones? I have a series 1 r33 gtst with HICAS and was just wondering which would suit? Thanks Lukas

Im with DCIEVE the lighter car should have an advantage on a rolling run if they are at the same power levels.....also assuming you dont have something like a gt40 on your rb20 and only wanting to make 300rwkw, could be a litty big laggy. And WEAPON, didnt you have an rb26 in your 33 gtst? With the coin you spent on that you could have a forged 3L bottom end with a 26 top end. All in all I think the gtr is obviously a better car. But being a cheapo uni studnet i think ill stick with my 3L gtst.

Fuel economy was about the same as stock. Im not sure how much power was at the wheels sorry. The ECU fuel mapping has been remapped for up to 15psi boost So you can have a little more fun.
