Got My Hands On E-manage Ultimate For My Auto Gt-t
Ado Potato replied to Ado Potato's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks for the quick and helpful responses guys! I actually picked up the ultimate for $300 through a good mate - figured this was a steal. Just need to get the 34 adapter now. I'll chase up the ones listed and see if i come up with any leads. Again many thanks - always good to be a part of a helpful community ^_^ Regards, Ado the Potato -
Hey all, Recently got my greedy jewish hands on an e-manage ultimate for my auto R34 GT-T - FMIC, full 3" exhaust, EBC set to 11PSI. I live in Mackay (1000kms NORTH of Brisbane & 400kms NORTH of Townsville) and am wanting to get it installed and tuned in the not-too-distant future. Can anyone recommend any places/people that have experience with Skylines and/or the E-manage ultimates ranging in location from Rockhampton to Townsville? I am sure there are plenty of candidates down in the Vegas of the Bris but really not keen on doing the trip to brissy with the 12/10 coilovers again... Many thanks in advance, Ado the Potato.

Hey all, My oil pressure guage almost always doesnt work. It just sits on zero the whole time and will sometimes come to life with the needle pointing around the 2 mark (quarter of the way). This guage and my boost guage are the only ones that ever do this - the boost guage is not a big worry seeing as i have an aftermarket guage installed (which ALWAYS works). Any suggestions or solutions would be heaps helpful. Many thanks in advance, Ado Potato.

Hey all, My fan control unit is stuffed. Fan is siezed and unsure if the circuit board that is attached to it works or not. Chasing anyone elses that they dont need anymore - whether it be from an R34 front cut that they dont need or from a wrecker. Even if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be muchly appreciated. Kind regards, Ado Potato.

Air Conditioner Fan In Dash Stopped Working ?
Ado Potato replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in General Maintenance
Well had a look and with the R34's turns out you dont need to remove the glove box at all. If you look up whilst under the passenger footwell you will see a black thing with a white connector running to it. Unclip this, remove the 3 big screws and the whole fan assembly thing falls down. Checked the copper film and it hasnt come away from the solder on either side. The fan is siezed so im assuming thats the problem. Anyone know of a good wrecker i can give a call? Many thanks in advance and sorry if this is classified as hijacking your thread. Ado POtato. -
Thanks Petern. Will try this tonight and let you know. Cheers mate!

Hey all, As of a few months ago my air con stopped working. Originally my A/C was making a terrible whirring noise and wasn't working very well. Got it checked out and turns out the fan was being ceased by hair, dirt, etc. They cleaned it out and it worked fine again for a while but now its stopped completely. I've noticed that the A/C itself is working but the fan is apparently farkled. Spoken to the mob that cleaned it in the first place and they say the fan is attached to a circuit board of some kind which APPARENTLY would cost heaps to replace. Can anyone provide any insite into this part/problem? Many thanks in advance, Ado the Potato.

Hey many thanks mate ^_^ 2nd link was right on the money - have already plugged the hose up with a bolt so i guess i'll just leave it like that for a while aye. cheers mate.

Hey all, Fitted my intercooler kit on the weekend just passed and have got a little hose that used to attach to a nipple on one of the pipes on the cold side just left over now and do not know what to do with it. Have plugged it up with a screw/bolt but concerned as to what it did. It looks like it fed off the cold pipe and went to (what looks like) the power steering doover-lacky-thingime-bob. I'm a super noob with identifying parts in the engine bay so please take that into account before roasting If anyone can provide some insight it'd be great. Cheers all, Ado the Potato

Hey all, I own an R34 GT-t and have purchased an LED dash kit off eBay - sounds dodgy but they are actually quite good so far. Thus far I have replaced the 3 bulbs in the triple guage cluster for the voltage, oil temp and boost - looking good and bright! I am asking if anyone has replaced their bulbs in the main dash cluster (speedo, tacho, fuel, oil pressure and water temp) whether to new bulbs or just cos old bulbs blew out - can you please post up info on how to remove everything to get to 'em! Also if anyone can clarify what type of HID bulbs the R34 takes for the low beam headlights it would be great - have bought a HID conversion kit and need to know if the bulbs are H1, H3, H7, D2R, D2S or what, ya know? Many thanks in advance, Ado Potato.

How To Remove Box Filter And Fit Pod Filter >_<
Ado Potato replied to Ado Potato's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Coolness fellas! Got into it Saturday night and by dingy-by-crikey it's in there now! Bolted to the chassis with the part that comes with the Apexi kit so hopefully shouldn't have any hassles. Can really hear the turbo spool now - nice sound and a bit more pickup from like 2500rpm onwards ^_^ Next on the agenda is getting that ECU sorted! Thanks very much for all the helpful replies - much appreciated. Cheers all, Ado the Potato -

How To Remove Box Filter And Fit Pod Filter >_<
Ado Potato replied to Ado Potato's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
To my dearest Stock Airbox Fan, I am aware that power levels of over 250rwkw are quite possible while keeping the stock airbox... but having said that isn't it also quite possible to get over 250rwkw without upgrading the exhaust from stock?? Besides - nicer sound when the pod's on too ^_^ IMO Thanks for your thoughts anyway. -
Hey all, Just recently bought a HKS cat-back exhaust and Apexi intake kit off from Nengun but cant get the damn box filter out to fit the POD - can't progress past the 4 bolts holding the box filter onto the intake. Have searched with R34 and POD in the search bar but couldn't find much... appears that everyone's got 'em tho! Anyways there's not enuf room for a ring spanner as there is a brass/copper ring that is in the way and an open ended one just won't do it If any of you have done this please post right ----> HERE <---- Cheers in advance, Ado the Potato

Hey there, I also own an R34 GTT and was looking at getting a HKS SSQV but thought it might not be as easy as "1,2....3".... Any info would help me also ^_^ Cheers, Ado
