  1. Midnight purple 34 GTR on safety bay rd this arvo. Thanks for the wave.
  2. Those rims look sweet, seeing all that barrel hanging out though reminded me a little of this: http://noriyaro.com/?p=8601 Dont mean any offence though, both a silver car with a lot of rim to fit underneath, thats all.
  3. Its all as I got it so I'm not 100%. I assume the car was originally a Dayz edition as the rear lip and spolier is as per dayz. The front bar and skirts are series 2 RS260 as far as I know. My wife calls it the underbite.
  4. Fitted these up last night. After initial dry fitup concerns they fit sweet, thanks darrinspencer and everyone else for convincing me 19*9.5 +12 will fit a manual. Its still quite high, but being my daily I dont want to increase camber just for the low yet and kill my tyre life. My phone camera (and my location choice) is sucking at taking photos of black rims with any detail...
  5. Dropping my new rims of at local tyre joint for tyre fittage. Young tyre monkey says, 'are these for your Honda'. Too mortified for an explanation I just said yep.
  6. Hey Mr locksmith, do you know who can get a replacement key for my Stag with the transponder in it? Mine has the central locking integrated into the key head..... All the ebay blanks are roughly the right shape but come without the transponder. It only came off the boat with one key. May not be worth the hassle, though I would be interested to see if its possible. Thanks.
  7. Invite?
  8. where are you finding a bleed valve for $30?
  9. I had same problem as above, except I had no shims or paste/grease. I ordered shims and paste. installed, problem solved. Now only squeal when dead cold and wet. Win.
  10. I have a white stagea, Fwy kills my run to work pretty much every morning and I only have to get to Bibra Lake.
  11. Should've put some more info, I head north to Bibra Lake from Baldivis. Was white 33r on gold GTCs and a silver 34 sedan with GTR rims on the back road between Russel rd and Northlake, this was a while ago though... Think I waved at Blizzerd yesterday on the Berrigan road bridge.
  12. Keep seeing a grey R34 sedan with GTR rims and a white R33 GTR with gold GTCs on my way to work..
  13. R33 Huntme: Thats the first 260RS I have seen with the same bar as my pretender. Do your foglights do anything useful towards lighting up the road? I ask as mine don't. I cant get the quote to show your images.... Yup, i haven't been up there for ages. I think i might have picked your photos were from coolo.....
  14. I got baulked by the slip in yolk on the transfer case also. Good to know it doesn't leak the oil out but how do you keep the road smeg (sand, water, general crap i run over) from finding its way in to the hole? Edit: Grey tape would probably do it i suppose?
  15. Just for DirtyRS4. Freshly washed and tyre blacked.
  16. Straight Grey R33, not matte, not metallic, shiny but flat colour. Safety bay road roundabout. Nice colour.
  17. My RS4S came with V35 rims 17x7+30 and 17x8 +33 from memory. It also came with 26mm spacers, remove the spacers and the rears rub the strut while the fronts look retarded. Yes my tyres ruin Attesa and i run in 2wd most of the time. Added this for reference, I think these rims may also have been poverty spec M35 rims...
  18. Well thats good news, I also made it to/from work today in one piece, I will keep track of my brake fluid level over the next week for piece of mind. My lines are too short and point the wrong way to be tied to anything at the moment. I might see if I can ustilise the brackets that were holding the caliper end of the R34 line's wierd block adaptor for a cable tie perch.
  19. Finished up my R34 brake conversion this afternoon by fitting the rears up. Went to a reputable brake joint to sort lines out and was a little disappointed, the guy didnt want to look at my car to help out what ends I need on the chassis side. The R34 rear lines have a weird block swaged onto the line on the caliper end with a socket fo a flare nut on the caliper end which goes to a hard line adaptor. The C34 rear lines have a banjo bolt on the caliper end with different weird block swaged to the line at the chassis end which goes to the hard line. I wanted a line made up with the right blocks in the line ends, but I only have one car and couldnt pull everthing apart to slap on the desk in front of the dude, so I bought my jack etc to the brake joint so the dude could come look etc and get the right line made up with the blocks pointing the right way. No luck, not his fault I isuppose but I was hoping... If I had a spare car or C34 spare soft lines and more time it would've been sweet. In the end I used a similar method to the front swap, pulled all the adaptors and hard lines off of the caliper, pulled the flare nut stopper out of the caliper and used the stock C34 lines with the Banjo bolt going into the caliper. I dont like this solution as much as the line is close (10mm) to the front upper control arm (I dont think it will get closer though) but I am pretty certain this will work. Also suspension movement will put a slight torque moment onto the banjo fitting as the line bends potentially undoing it, the line points probably 10degrees forward of vertical at the back of the caliper.... Please pipe up if you think this solution will result in firey death.. Also if anyone can remember the exact specs of the lines they had made up for their rear R34 fitment, it would be greatly appreciated.
  20. Can I please get some help here, as mentioned previously I am looking at getting some 19 x 9.5 +12s for my rs4s. So I did a trial muck around with a mates set or vskfs which are 9.5 +28. I took some measurements with my 26 mm wheel spacers for total offset of +2 and I was around 10mm poked at the back which will end up fine with +12s. Up front though there was like 30 mm of poke. How poked out are people running 9.5 +12 or +15s up front. Photo proof with spacer. This ones upside down so imagine I can take a photo properly....
  21. Got my set of shims from the USA today, greased them up and fitted them after work. Hopefully 'Operation Big Success' and my wife wont cringe at the idea of taking my car somewhere. Also picked up a set of R34 rears brakes, hubs and all this afternoon. I wont put them on until I can have a look at what line changes need to be made. Anyone know what i can do with a pair of R34 hubs? Thought of selling them to a silvia guy but there kind of useless without brakes.... Hose reel with a rim is all i can think of.
  22. As title suggested, I noticed my C34 doesn't seem to show any sign of hitting a cutout after the needle is no longer pointing at numbers.
  23. Cheers guys, looks like its go once the guy I sold my pupra to comes to picks it up... My V35 17" (I think 8" +30) rears rub my coilover collars without spacers (it came with massive 1" bolt ons), I really dont want to have to put different ones back for new rims. I also dont want to over tyre with anything bigger than a 245 so should be win. My car is stock barring exhaust so any wider is just a fun canceller.
  24. Heck yeah. as long as above isn't sarcasm. Affordable means they can live on a daily. How much poke if any are people gettiing on 19x9.5 +15s on manual C34s. I want as little as possible, as mentioned its a daily. Also how much scrubbing, and guard work is needed. By my dodgey maths, it seems like as long as i dont go too low should be sweet.
