On my s13 ca180sx that I recently brought are some ghey mirrors so I've brought stock ones to put back on. However, the wiring on the new mirrors is different to whats in my car at the moment and also differs from the workshop manual I have. I assume the mirrors I've brought are off a later model 180sx (like an sr20 version or something). They only have 1 plug coming off them as oposed to 2 different ones on my model 180sx. the Colours of the wires on the mirrors ive brought are: Blue Yellow Purple Orange Pink Could anyone tell me which wires are for what on my new mirrors OR, direct me to the correct wiring manual for them. Below is the wiring manual for my car Regards, Damien.

Are their any currently available?

As everyone has said, for rebuilds Tas Engine Recon are the go. There are decent tuners of power fc's in tassie. Everyone has their personal preference. As far as i am aware in Hobart there are three main tuners: 1. Pro Automotive <-- Kutzi 2. Nick Summons 3. I think the third one is Tas Mobile Mechanics, unless I'm getting my companies mixed up. As for performance parts I'd say the internet is your best bet.
-
Where we live, you shouldn't be worried Matt. However, I guess if your driving it into work you'd be taking a risk there. Sadly there are now car thieves around Hobart who seem to be able to work their way around immobilisers and alarms and have no sense of apprehension whilst breaking into cars.

Not that you would be revving it when the oil is cold.
-
As long as its not white/blue smoke its just unburnt fuel.
-
Need to find a place to put my oil temp sensor probe into the engine. Is there a stock pressure/temp sensor hole somewhere on the block/sump which i could put T-piece for both sensors? Any help appreciated. Regards Damien

Is the surging at idle? If so clean your AAC valve with carby cleaner.
-
I reckon unbiased people like you who have worthy grounds to justify your reasoning are awsome, hard to find in Tassie these days. Good luck with it.
-
Your not keen on pro automotive then?
-
+1 for Dr Drift, especially with rb20 remaps.
-
What sort of tien coilovers are the r32 front ones? How much for r32 front strut brace? Pm pics?
-
I wouldnt get a wrx, they might be more reliable but their parts are heaps expensive. Imo if you look after an r32 you shouldn't have to much trouble with it.
-
What times did everyone get?
-
Track day for shizzle.
-
Sounds good. Their will be a fair bit of difference in power. The stock exhausts are very restrictive. What mods do you already have?
-
Daym. Wish I could have been there.
-
It'll be fine. Their is guys around who put cheap crap in there RBs and they still work.

It's a little plug that sticks into ur exhaust in the engine bay. Here is some of random cars. http://neksiwel.20m.com/images/o2_sensor.jpg http://www.slantsix.org/articles/bryan_lon...ygen-sensor.jpg
