Waste of fuel + time in my opinion. Best advice is to get an oil temp gauge, and until its warm dont rev it.

Forgot to mention it only surges when the engine is warm. The aux air control valve is for when the engines cold isnt it?

Hey all. My car (R32gtst) has been blowing some sort of carbon out of the exhaust for a while, i think its oil (when its under boost). After a base map tune, fuel pump and boost controller i am starting to wonder whether it might be the piston rings go? Also, since installing the fuel pump (bosch 040) and boost controller the revs appear to be surging during idle. Between about 500 and 1200rpm. any ideas what this could be? Fuel reg is stock. Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Your guage probably isn't accurate. Wouldn't rule out other possibilites though. Did it have normal readings with the Greddy sender?

Had a bit of a search but couldn't find anything. Which is it? im assuming under the dash as i couldn't see it on the fuse box in the engine bay. Im unaware of any other fuse boxes in the car. If someone could circle it for me??
