Hey peoples not sure if this is a repost. Sorry if it is. Anyway, I'm planning on getting a RS FOUR S soon. And wanted to know how hard it is to get parts? Its realy the only thing my dad is showing concern about (he's my dad i have to listen to him a bit ). I've told him that you can get them from japan, price will just depend on the Yen, and if all else fails I'd heard that Nissan still do a few parts, at a cost of course. Plus there's enough in the country now that there are a few spairs. 2ndly what mechanics do the guys in brisbane recomend to use? I've heard that it can be a big no no to send it to a mechanic that doesn'e know stageas. Thanks all input is appreciated. Mattye

I would assume that thats cause it could be made illegal by opening the valve. Does anyone have a contact who could maybe findout if its legal/ileagal for us.

Yeh would be. Because it goes over the 90 db limit. But thats only when its open. When closed its under the legal limit. So therefore legal. Well thats my understanding. Sound pretty good. I don't want the whole cannon mufler or sound though. I want it to sound legit. So saw this and thought "straight through with this on the back" or something like that anyway.

Hey just a quick question. Does anyone make a bolt on exhaust for the S2 Stagea? I haven't seen one but was wondering if anyone else may have. Also anyone have or knowwith this Xforce Varex muffler? It looks pretty good and looks pretty safe for the car. I've seen some that would creat dangerous back pressure. But this one looks pretty good. Hey Guys and Girls. Just wondering is there anywhere you can get stagea floor mats from? The propper ones with the Stagea emblem embroided into them that is. I'm looking at a S2 Stagea and i doesn't have them and if i got the car i would want to get some. Thanks Matt

hey guys thanks. Yeh i know its not called vvti but figured everyone would know what i was talking about...lol. Um no its at down the gold coast. Wheres keysborough out of interest? Basicly as KiwiRS4T said they've got variable valve timming. Its probs called something special as most nissan things are. And being a neo engine it would probs be more complicated agian I understand advancing the timming could be bad news but i'm going to see it next weekend and they should have put it back to factory. and if anything seems weird i'll be walking away. thanks to all

Ok so i had a look at and test drove a series 2 RS Four S on friday and all was good. Except that i noticed that under wroughly half throtle when u accelerate it was surging a bit. Now i got back to the dealer n told the salesman and he jumped in and drove it and agreed that it was surging. He said that he thought it was the vvti solenoid not working properly/not opening. And said that he had had the same problem with a couple of other cars. Apparently because the solenoid is in the top of the block when the cars been sitting around its not getting oil on it all the time and they become sticky. When we got back to the dealership the mechanic there advanced the timming 8 degrees in order to get the vvti to turn on earlier hoping that it would force it to become unstuck. It seemed to work as everytime he accerlerated the car ran better. Has anyone heard of this problem before. I would assume it would happen to all rb25s if this is the case. all help will be awsome thanks mattye

thanks people for all ur coments. i had been thinking about the whole exchange rate thing...its a pain in the ass realy...so when i saw Nagoya with a stagea in stock i thought it would be a good option. that said i wont be getting the car till early next year so who knows what could happen between now and then. for those who would like to know i sent a email off to Nagoya n recived one back the next day...n they confirmed what i thought. anywho keep any info u peeps have coming...it all helps.

Hey guys n gals, So i stumbled upon this company tonight called "Nagoya Motors" and they look pretty good for importing (maybe). I'm looking at importing a RS Four S wroughly 1999. Anywho has anyone heard of them before, or used them or know someone who has used them??? I'm kinda unsure about importing still and would like some feedback about companies first. I was loking at J-Spec and have heard lots of good thing about them, but then stumbled upon these guys and thought it might be another option. Anyway let us know what you know. Could b a number of things...have u checked engine mounts...worn or damaged mounts can cause the engine to move on acceleration or deceleration. Excess gear backlash (the amount of freeplay between the gear teath when engaged)...this can mean a worn box...same can happen for diffs. though with such a new car...this shouldn't b the case...though its probs worth a check.

Guys just goin on wat i've been told in regards to the new common whores (comadores). I was told that, well i suppose u could say its a flaw in the dessign but because most sport 19's....and 19's are more expensive than others because most people that upgrade go for 18's or 20's..Thus making 19's less popular and more expensive. Not 100% if this is true. Just wat i've been told.

Hey, i dont mean to ask a stupid question but what does "ET" stand for???? Also i have been told that tires for 19's are harder to find and more expensive than 18's or 20's. I'm not sure why this is, though i have heard it a few times. Anyways just something extra you might wana check out first.
