Ive played with a kaos pad before. You can sit there for hours mucking around with it. Good for live stuff. Hard to remember what you did if you want to play a organised set with it tho. Had a good night last night. Hope the neighbors are OK.

Dude, Benga is the king of dubstep. Would love to see him play. He produces and mixes. Something that aint happening enough. How nice would it be to play your own stuff. look at the benga detailed interview on youtube. he seems like a level headed guy too.

Yeah mate. same, Its really a style of music where you need a good stereo setup. You play it on desktop speakers or something and it just sounds like ping pong. I'm having a dubstep night tonight actually. few beers in. waiting for mates to rock up. better hurry or ill be into the beers to heavy You should head to the next dubstep show. Last one was massive. UK dj named SEVEN came and his style and technicality was impressive. very loud too.

How much did you pay for pro tools Talbo ? Ive had a look at it. But It was pirated and didn't work properly. I know it costs an arm and a leg. I use Sony soundforge 8. Fruity loops studio , producers edition. have played with acid pro etc. Would love an old synth machine tho. how hard are they to hook up to the comp ?

Nice guitar talbo. I don't know too much about guitars but I can tell its a nice one. I learnt Bass for a while but I wish I took up guitar. Lot more to experiment with.

Gday. It seems a lot of people are interested in music so I thought Id ask a couple of the Mods if I could start a new thread. Containing music and all its elements. Production. Youtube songs. Instruments you play. Shows you've been to etc etc. Keep it positive and on track and this thread will be fine

Yeah correct. I like the idea of having 234232 songs on hand with disks. but that's about it. Sometimes its hard to get your hands on new tunes on vinyl though. Gotta get in pretty quick hey. I'm still tossing up weather to get some 1200s or some cdjs. Wouldn't be so bad just playing at home with disks I guess.

Yep. I like the fact they still play vinyl too. Not just chuck a mp3 in and let it play. Some of my mates are d&b djs and will only spin vinyl as it sounds better too.

Duke is OK if your a young en. Its not bad. prices are good. A little poserish tho. Sugar plays the best music IMO. good for deep house etc. but pretty hard to strike a convo there. A good mate is a bouncer at the Stag. good for a little while. but not all night. Now days Ill just walk around and suss out some new joints. You would be surprised if you walked around and had a look. Not in rundle mall or street or Hindley. The city is bigger than them three streets.

Ive stayed out of this . I know I probably shouldn't say too much but I gotta agree with the above statement. I don't mind people meeting on Fridays. Do what you want. TBH tho my weekends are precious to me. I really don't want to sit around vilis and a servo. I did that when I was 17. Its boring. The reason Im saying this; If I ever have a point to make and you dont agree please dont tell me to come to Vilis, and point out I dont attend events etc. I have a different life style I guess.

I don't know about being lazy. I think the power play well when confident. When they RUN the ball and lead they are great. once the confidence drops no one leads. who are they going to kick to ? They weren't chasing or leading on the weekend. I'm worried teams have picked this up and will continue to smother and apply absolute pressure. When we played the Hawks it was an open field. Skills one the game. precise kicking etc. Pressure football is a lot different

Got all of depeche modes stuff. Nice music. some of their remixes are really good too. cabaret voltaire, kraftwerk, etc are my old favs.
