Well just got back from regecny. not the happiest person around atm. list: standard boost control solenoid to be fitted. (howmuch $?) Rear steering lock bar to have engineer certificate or returned to standard. ( again $) Front castor rod to have engineered or returned to stock. (fair enough I guess, but in reality big deal) front and rear wheel alignment report showing manufacturers specs and find wheel align results ( Isnt that their job to know the specs ? wtf() manufacturer to rectify standard air flow metre is fitted, if not standard to be fitted. L&R inner tie tod ends with play. rectify. (fair enough) To me I feel its more to 'lets be as technical as possible and find things rather than , is this car roadworthy ?' cuzs this car is the most roadworthy car ive driven.

suprised no one has mentioned this....... they usually defect us more because we will spend money and turn over more money to get the car back on the road. We pay the guys at regency. A piece of shit car will be thrown away without spending a cent if its defected. they know that. you ever see a piece of shit in regency ?

saw the stagea ^. looked real nice. I did see a sinergy sticker too. also around 330pm saw a white R34. with graphics, seen it on here before. near the aquatics centre.

yeah its all sweet. EBC is out. everythin is fine. stock ECU casing over powerfc. only way they can tell if its a powerFC is if they rip the kick panel off and pull the casing of the ECU. they will prolly take the kick panels off but surely not unscrew the casing and look. all I gotta do is find a cheap way to quieten the exhaust. Im moving house in the next couple weeks too so money in limited. anyone know a cheap way to quieten the exhaust ? baffle plate ? spot weld silencer ?

yeah been thru there 2 times before. never been tested for emissions. heard it cost them alot to do for some reason ? Ill just go there act dumb. say what I have to and suck up. never been tested for exhaust either. but this car is alittle louder than previous rides. I heard you can spot weld a silencer of some sort and have it removed after? your mate hide his controller ? why didnt he just unplug it ? doesnt need the controller plugged in to run does it ?

well seems I was informed wrong. car has HKS afm, blitz FMIC, oil cooler, greddy EBC 14 psi. exhaust and a couple little things. put the PowerFC back in and it runs fine. well looks like im going to un-screw the powerFC casing and put the standard casing over it. Im pretty sure regency wouldnt take the casing apart and rip my kick panels out etc. just unplug the hand controller.

Im heading to regency. I took out my PowerFC. installed a standard ECU which I picked up from someone here. I was told you can install the standard ecu and the car will run fine. regardless if you were running a powerFC before. However the car wont boost. its running very very rough. little pops and all sorts of bullshit. friend thinks its teh fuel mapping. but wouldnt that be part of this ECU?> Im guessing ive bought a faulty ECU, or some other little prob that just wants to piss me off even more.

the wait was for around 2 weeks. I needed more time tho. Alot of stuffing around to do. Didnt realise my rego was due to run out. stupid me. have you fixed what you got defected for ? If so you can take it to the police station and get it checked off and still drive around. you cant do this till you have booked for regency tho.

anyone know what a day pass is worth ? not sure on taking a trader plate as the form clearly states a few times not to drive an unregistered car
