Hallo guys, I did 11.2sec with 130 or 134mph(I don't remember exactly) and 1.9sec 60foot! Unfortunatly the drag strip was very very bad without glue and very old. With bumps over 1/8mile as you can see in the video. Theese bumps caused the accident.. In a good drag strip and with rev limit 8500 I am sure that the time will be mid 10! In other races I did 1.5sec 60foot but in this drag strip was impossible to do a good launch! I set the tyre pressure at 7.5psi (cold tyres-before burnouts) in my try for a good time This tyre pressure sure was an other reason for the accident. At the time that I lost the car I push full brakes and the car did drift because the street has dust and was very old. Glue has only fore the first 1/16 mile I tried in the race to tune a little the car with the commander... Rev limit: 8000rpm AFR wot: 11.7!! IGN: 19deg at 8.000rpm Boost: 2.1bar - 31psi (without vaccum hose at wastegate :P ) 100octane fuel Very hot summer day!!! 100F 38C The car is really fast now!!! Ofcourse it needs tune but it is really good instead without tune.

Power Fc Tuning - Help Questions

URAS so you mean that N19 and N20 must be sure more than N18 right? So more than 39... and now is only 25!! With 8000rpm limit will be lean the last rpms?? In the foto I have recalc the base!! You have two emails paulr33 Thanks for the tip... I wish to know it earlier -
High ignition (with knocks) don't cause high egt? 15 deg from 6400 to 8000 with 100oct and 2bar isn't good?
-
I wish to find a way to come here the Guilt-Toy. I am searcing for air tickets but they are expensive.. Thank you very much Guilt Toy

I adjust the fuel pressure at 43psi-3bar. I change the fuel map and not with 10.5 wot I have 99% open the injectors! Max exhaust temp 1300F-700C. 100oct with 15deg ignition from 6000 to 8000rpm But I check after some driving the exhaust temp and it was peak 1800F-1000C!!! I don't know why All the time I was looking the wideband and nothing was wrong. Full thottle from 3000 to 5000 was aroung 13.. then 10! When the car has high EGT? If it has low ign or high?

Power Fc Tuning - Help Questions

I mean oils from the breathers.. -
Guys I know what I am doing!! When I said the same afr in all rpms I mean.... The same afrs in all rpms that I have know.... e.g. at 14.7 idle... but also at wot 10.8... etc!!!! So I ask if with droping the injectors and increase the fuel pressure if I will have the same afrs.. And I ask this because if I change the injectors the differences are linear to all the map.. But I think fuel pressure changes don't make linear changes at the map. I will put 43psi fuel pressure and changing the injectors I can have 10.8 again wots... but at this point all the other will be ok? Cruising... idle... ? I hope that now you understand what I am saying... I have so low fuel pressure because I didn't have a good gauge when I tunned the car. I imagine that I had 3.5bar fuel pressure but from mistake I had 1.5bar! Also in my country we aren't so bad as you thinking... Fastest EVO in europe 9.0sec Highest hp EVO in the WORLD 1416hp (2007 and still working) And many other good cars.
-
Because I don't have now a datalogit to tune it I asked if after I increase the fuel pressure at 43psi, to reduce the injectors size from commander! Can I make it to have the same afrs as now with some tests with this way? Or it is imposimble with this way to have the same afrs in all rpms?

With rev limit 8000rpm... does it use the column N19 or only N18? Also see my base map please... this is with recalc base... N19-P20 N20-P20 It isn't logical to be so low right? It must be more than N18-P20 right? Why I ask all theese.. My car run 2bar-30psi and I don't have datalogit right now to tune anything in my car... As I run this boost I only intersting for row p20 and cells from n13 to n20. I run the car with rev limit 7500... it was ok 10.8afr! I run it 8000rpm... again ok 10.8! But ofcourse at theese rpms with so fast car it is different to see the gauge and understand. Also the last rpms before the limit you cannot understand if the numbers are from rev limit or the afr from last rpms. So I want to tell me if the map seems to be ok to theese cells or in theory the car will be very lean if it will read the N19-P20,N20-P20! Remember in the foto is recalc the base. My guess that theese cells must be 40 and 42 is right? Also the car take out oils at theese boost.. I undestand it because I don't have oil catch can and the oils goes at the turbo and many smokes suddenly filling all the car haha! The first time my heart stop for some seconds to work!!!

Ok guys! This I will do! If I increase the fuel pressure at 43psi the car will be very rich... So can I reduce the injectors size from commander and make the mixture as now? Or it isn't the same the change of fuel press and the change of injectors size?
-
I see at powerfc 100% duty cycle on my injectors.. Is it safe to run with this duty? My injectors aren't small but I run them with very low fuel pressure... 1.5bar-22psi! Is it ok to leave the injectors with theese duty? Or I must increase the fuel pressure and reduce the injector size (% from commander) ?
-
Can powerfc f**k its map alone? The car was mapped untill 1 bar boost with 11afr and now at 1bar the car is very very rich... lower than 8afr At 1.2bar the car was very lean... 13afr... now still lower than 10... At 2.1bar boost (yes danger) the car was ok.. 10.5afr and ofcourse was unbelievable fast.. But why all theese? What happened at powerfc? Anyone know that powerfc can destroy its map?

I have two 044 with two 6an hoses for feed (twin feed rail) and one 8AN for return. I use a surge tank and in my car tank i have a walbro.
-
I bought a nismo gmax twin plate and the seller sent me r34 gtr clutch I try to fit it into r32 gearbox with central plate, fork and bellhousing from r33 but the clutch cover stop at the fork and it don't let the gearbox to fit.. it leaves more than 20mm to bolt.. Do you know if I can fit this clutch to my gearbox?

Rb26 Using Short Plugs (iso-bkr)? Big Problem?!?
GreeceS13 replied to GreeceS13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
A ok sorry but I thought that the difference in the height is at the other side... combution chambel side... Thanks for the help!! -
I would like to know please what exactly you are going to do because I want to do the same. You want to have an afr graph dependence the rpm? Datalogit has the ability to load afr numbers after a driving at a 20x20 table that each cell match with the load points of the 20x20 ign and fuel map? If yes I would be very very intersting to know how I can do it. I have lm2 and plx so I can feed the datalogit with an analog 5V wideband signal.

No you must do with ecu connected. Just push a little the terminals of the multimeter in the wires. Find an ecu pin out to know what you will do.
-
Oh you will melt something or you melted!!! Pin 45 12V Ign Pin 58 12V Permanent When your ignition is on (red lamps at dash), so when the ecu have 12V at pin 45.... the ecu gives a ground at PIN16!!! This ground opens the ecu relay!! So the ecu relay sends 12V to the 49,59! If you gave or if you will give 12V at pin16 you will melt this pin and you will not anymore ground exit. (if you did it, I will tell you what solution I found)! Ecu relay.. 1 and 3 needs one ground (ground from pin 16) and one 12V permanent. 3 and 5 at 3 12V permanent and at 5 a wire that goes at pin49,59. To understand which pin is the 3,5,1,2 see under the relay... it has some small numbers near each pin. The scheme at the face of the relay (that writes NISSAN) isn't with the right way printed. Just read what I said you to connect at the relay and look at the metal pins to find some very small letters nears the pins and you will see the numbers.
-
The pfc needs 1sec more 12V at pin49,59 when you cut the voltage at pin 45 (so when you cut ignition). 12V Ign at Pin 45 12V Permanent at pin 58 Pin 16 to the relay and suply the relay with battery voltage with a new wire from the battery with a fuse so you will be sure thaw this voltage you will not cut from alarm.
