  1. as the title says, i am after a HKS DB white boost gauge. Picture of what i am after below. Thanks
  2. hahahaha, lol brad. change that subject quick
  3. hahaha brad, it's both days buddy. starts at 10:00
  4. lol. Hey is anyone going to the Brissie autosalon this weekend? is $20 entry, probably the same for parking starts at 10am and finishes at 7pm. 5:00 is normally when the "big boys shootout" happens. that is were engines are made famous or bite the dust
  5. Hill runs are always good, we should organise a Mount Mee run. whole run is about 150kms, and takes about 2.5 hours max. really good run. Brad, hahaha, yeah, but the clarkson legacy started in the early 2000's. i have the first series from 2001, i know that top gear started ages before, but the one we are commenting on is the hosts we know.
  6. just got an email from Nissan this morning making it official that the car is coming to Australia. The new website is http://www.nissangtr-au.com/en/web_GTR/GT-R/show.html But aren't the cars that are coming to australia, the jap spec ones anyway. and the audio system will not be converted till mid to late 2010? either way, for me personally i still love the 34, however the 35 is one amazing machine. BTW has anyone seen the one for sale here on the sunshine coast? it's going for $170,000, with less than 2k on the clock
  7. hahahaha, dorifuto FTW. is there a drift practice on this weekend at QR? and back to topgear, yeah they have been around since 2001. but to be quite honest, you can't replace clarkson, hammond and may. they are veterans. and the aussie topgear was sooooo crap. i mean, seriously there was a few flaws in their test track. for starters, the GTR they tested (so hot may i add) was the Haltech/CRD car which has been quite modded compared to the one they tested on Topgear UK, secondly who would test a stretch hummer. seriously, though we have no good cars for sale in australia. not like the uk where they have Ascari's, Aston's, and totally unique cars that australia does not have the market for. but as it has been said above, i'll give it a few weeks, otherwise i will retreat to downloading TopGear UK.
  8. NIC334 +1 FTW the car is good thanks. 3k entertainment system comes in handy for the many traffic jams on the bruce highway. hahahahaha brad. my power is just fine at the moment. have spent enough for this year. turbo, management and manifold has been set back till next year. but 400HP FTW YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
  9. Hey..... You made it!!!! Congratulations. (on the blacklist, that is) LOL Comon' Chaps & Chapesses don't take everything literally. All in good fun
  10. http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/507-00.htm thats the address for the cube, and have found out that cubes are selling for around 850000Yen FOB, so landed around 14 or so thousand AU, especially with the yen at 101.50 to $1 AUD. will be definately looking into and investing one probably once i see them on the RAWS list.
  11. seriously though, there is one serously stupid idea with the skyline engine, yes it is good, but the way the air intake goes OVER the engine is stupid. air goes from the turbo, gets cooled by the intercooler, then gets heated up again by the engine and back of the turbo. U might as well run no intercooler. Also, changing sparkplugs, takes 30 minutes on my 1JZ, took my friend and i 1 hour 25 minutes on his 34 GT-T. JZ series engines also have no Airflow meter, except for the economy version of the engine, the rest all have map sensors. yet another great positive. all i can really say is the JZ series engines are just better overall.
  12. Well, don't get me wrong, i like skylines, and mabye one day when the price of 34GTR's come down in price i may consider one, but currently i drive a 1JZ powered soarer. and unlike most of them, mine is a manual, and goes bloody fast. infact, the only thing i have done to my car is an exhaust and i am 4hp at the wheels less than my friend with a 33 GT-T, of whom has spent countless hours and alot of dosh, to get his car the way it is, and i don't even have a FMIC installed yet. How many skylines have made the glorous 1000hp at the wheels benchmark? i don't know, but i haven't heard about them. Yet, there was at least 1 supra, that was for sale a little while ago, that won king of autosalon in brissie. Really an engine with a head designed by motorcycle manufacturer, can't be too bad, and must have some positives. bang for buck, the JZ powered toyota's are awesome. I hate to say it but a skyline with a 1J or 2J. Yep, that's what i would have to go. Sorry guys, but i know what side of the fence i am on
