Did some more research on it too and this website on the 240SX HICAS justifies mine, Ruckers and Steve's theory on it. And if it does this on the s13 it would no doubt have the same effect on 32s and above. http://www.240edge.com/basics/super-hicas.html Not sure how credible it is though. Would prefer to see pictures/info from Nissan itself. I guess it doesn't really matter if it does/doesn't work at low speeds as its not really the issue. At the end of the day, lockbar is the go.

Or if you don't enjoy unexpectedly being wrapped around a pole if you can't help booting it around corners. It's not that it 'has a mind of its own' every time u boot it around corners. Sometimes it does it and you won't realise. But in my case when it swung me lane to lane, you obvs realise it and it becomes a hazard. I just got lucky, if it kept oversteering about 20cm more I woulda wound up over the box curb in the bushes. No point fitting it in after you crash it. Rather be safe than sorry imo.

He's right it does work at low speeds. I think its called opposite phase or somethin at low speeds. It turns the wheels the opposite direction to the front wheels at low speeds. and at high speeds in turns them in the same direction as the front wheels.

I think most things have been covered so let me just add a 'goddamn thats one of the hottest 33s i've ever seen.'

Were u the loud brunette chick with red skirt talkin to Adzy (ranger with the black 80)? I think we woulda stood about 1 meter away from each other for ages and not even realised if so. Although I wasn't the most social person that day coz of a really big sat nite. But I'm Never drinking again. until next week. Rhys I didn't think you'd make it out the oval, you had ur lights on the whole day, unless u did that on purpose lol.

heres my experience with it... Was going through Safety Bay roundabout in Rocko, the roads were still wet from rain earlier but it wasnt raining anymore. No one else was on the road and I know this corner like the back of my hand. I had 2 chicks in the car with me and I gave it a boot just as I was exitting and straightening up the roundabout so it was safe, it lost a fraction of traction but didnt slide or anything like that, just a tiny skip. HICAS thought I was losing control and it reangled my wheels to (supposedbly) counter this. Anyways, what it actually ended up doing was swing me literally lane to lane. As I was in shock and never experienced it before I was trying to counter the HICAS which made it swing back into the other lane again. My friends in the car just both looked at me with a blank stare because they knew the car was what made it switch the lane first. I didn't wana experience that ever again, was pretty scary especially with 2 box curbs on each lane, not to mention im lucky no other cars were around. Next day I went to J-Shop and got them to fit me a lockbar in and I havn't had the problem again. And I think in the 34s you can lose close to over 30kg if you remove everything with it, but apparantly its a big job to do that.

Wasn't my gf tho, woulda been high heeled in the eyeball if I made her do that. lol. edit: 2 pics by dodgeson near the end... turned out pretty cool.

Was urs the NA with the GTR badge? lol. good meetin heaps of u's. Shame Karl and Gaz left before Leach Hwy, the leg their was insane. And sorry about the map, we relied on a club member to do it for us untrialled, since our event guys were busy, bit of mistakes here and there but nothin too major. But was good to have a cruise where everyone was bunched together. Dodge I saw you trigger happy with the camera so throw some up if any turned out okay. Cheers guys, see most of you's again on Sunday.

good stuff, you basically just head straight down fremantle rd (the main rd that takes u into mandy), and swing a right at Gordon Rd. Follow that down, take the left where u see Repco (from memory) and its on the right. You will see the cars once you hit Gordon Rd on the left in the HN carpark. Use Google Maps if unsure or gimme a buzz. Just txt me first so I know who you are, dont usually pick up to numbers that arent in my fonebook. I would also recommend grabbing some food from the forum beforehand. There's a shop there that make a meannnn noodle box, which I'm about to go get now. Cyas 2nite. edit: 4 perth ppl from the club are meetin bull creek shops on south at 8.10pm. Anyone on here besides Gaz may wana get there at 8pm since they won't know your coming so you'd wana get their before them.

map is being editted due to tunnel being closed as of today.
-
no probs. hope to u see out, and dodge.
-
I believe so, also a tunnel run around the last leg.
-
Good stuff Gazza, been a while since you've had a run with us.

I wanted those originally but the offset on the RR (or concave) is +20 and won't fit R34. These are +32.

buy some shiny new wheels and then you'll love your car again for a while. I know the feeling. But seriously, I'm in the same position as you but with ER34 and BNR34. You really need to think about it before you make the decision, because if you start modding the gtst more you will find it hard to part with it. remember you are losing $$ when you go to sell the gtst after modding. as u proly seen i just got new wheels, where I previously planned to have my GTR for around September next year, but because I've just started the modding process all over again after cooling off for a while, you end up wanting to keep it a bit longer just so you get your moneys worth/self satisfaction out of it. Upon saying that, if 2-3k is peanuts to you, do some decent mods to that budget, see if your happy with it, if your not happy, I'd sell and buy the GTR at that stage and not waste any further money on it. imo. I've spent over 10k on my car and it seems like I've done f*ck all to it!
