Definitely something wrong there, I have an auto and it should only flash 'slip' when taking off hard under wet roads, or taking tight corners hard at from 1st -> 2nd under high revs. Maybe your auto box is about to die. I wouldn't drive it till you find out what's wrong imo.

Our cruises are mostly intended for SoR people but a lot of NoR still come down. I mean we come up there to the city points a lot of the time so it shouldn't be a biggie to start south, and if it's your first time, you'll have fun with a new route. It's the main reason why we started doing our own cruises, since everyone was making it city meet points, we wanted something the SoR people would find more convenient.

Well guys we're doing our first day cruise for '08. Day Cruise & BBQ. BYO Drinks. Dennis [DENSGTR] of Club Motavate will be kindly providing 100 snaggers, but if we get a turnout like our night cruises, this won't be enough so probably BYO steak/sausages if you want 2nds etc, or have a big appetite or 'high metabolism' like myself. Class: Open Cruise to an extent. Import/Jap cars only. General Route: Mandurah->Rockingham->Freo->Manning Lake/Dalmatinac Park for BBQ Meet Point: 12pm @ House works car park corner of ROUSE RD and FREMANTLE RD in MANDURAH Route has been written and tested. And there will be enough maps for all on the day, no matter which regroup point you join us at. I'm assuming it will be double demerits so try and behave. Any questions, drop me a msg.

I'm not running the Good Friday cruise mate. The next Club Motavate Cruise will be on Anzac Day (28th April i think) which will be a day cruise and BBQ, it will be a nice chilled out day.

I'm sure we had close to 40 at one stage. And no sh!tboxes, all very nice cars.

haha nw, yeah the curb lol. Thanks for everyone who turned up, didnt expect such a big turnout at the first meet point, usually I'd print about 50 maps off but I was having last minute issues with my printer. finally managed to get some copies printed by someone else, but he only ran off about 35. So apologies on that. But it was a great night. I didnt get home till 5am, had to drop ammerty back home in NoR, wher I got chopped by an STi about 5 times lol.

Well we're leaving Mandurah at 9.30, takes about 20mins to get to Baldivis shops (if you keep the speed), should leave Baldivis shops by around 10.05-10.10. So to answer your question, should be there around 10.35 or so? I think mattxwa with the white 33 is meeting us at carousel too, maybe arrange to follow together to carousel or something?

$300 for legal is cheap. I was quoted $350 from Tint-a-Car in Rocko. I called up my friend at another Tint-a-Car shop, ended up getting it for $200 (mates rates.)

Thanks, yeah they put a big tape and sticker over my power window switches that says DO NOT WIND WINDOWS DOWN FOR 48 HOURS in big red writing. I still go to do as soon as I get in the car, then I see the sticker and im like...oh yeh. Just a habit I guess lol. Very happy with the tint, wish they did the front as well though.

I hope you guys didnt have too much trouble with Highway Patrol. I was leaving the city at 1pm, saw them stop a cruise of about 50 Porsches before they could get onto the freeway turnoff by the river. Then I was driving about halfway down kwinana freeway, where I saw Highway Patrol park sideways in the middle of the freeway so we couldnt go str8, we had to go around the Jandakot way to get back onto the freeway. Not sure what that was all about, never seen so many cops in the day before that's for sure.
