What model kit is this group buy? I just got quoted $419 for the RE5R05A-HD2 from Drive line Autoparts, the WA distributor.

Sweet put me tentatively down for now. There's a WA authorised distributor according to the Transgo website but their emails are bouncing back. I'll try calling them today to see if they have it in stock as it might be cheaper for me. I'll let you know tonight whether I'll grab one a part of the group buy or not.

I'm interested, although I'm in Perth. What comes in the kit? The Transgo website is hard to get around, but I think the Transgo Reprogramming Kit is what I need. Also if this kit is installed is it neccessary to upgrade the valve body al la MV Automotives?

Will cost you about 3.5k to make it fit. boot needs to be completely re-made. was quite close to doing it when I had my 34 and then I came back to reality.

I do charge, plus 6+ years of graphic design knowledge so my editting is on point, and I can get prints really cheap as I manage the camera area in harvey norman.

They have a very high standard of cars there. If you go there wanting to trade-in a car with a dent or a minor problem, they'd probably turn it down. They have to keep the standard up as they sell Ferraris etc there too. I just got accepted into Uni starting in March. Looks like the Bridgeport and V-mount setup is going to have to be put on the backburner for a while.

Syfon, If I lose one point I lose it for 12 months. I accumalated 20 demerit points while I had the R34 and 33. I'm actually driving this really normal. a) because I dont want shit to break, and b) I already know it's quicker than most cars that wants to give me runs, and c) I like keeping my license. That would be awesome coz Monga doesn't have any. Do let me know asap plz, if it fixes my problem I'll buy it. Victor, it's awesome for a daily drive. I run 20/25W race oil so the downside with that is longer time warming up/cooling down. Mind you upon saying that, when I fix the 33 and sell that I'll be going for a cheaper daily option. The worst thing I get scared of is because I work in retail, it's such a low car and if 4wd's park next to me they literally don't see it. Plus I drive on the highway to get to work = trucks. other than that, highlight of my day is driving to work. Fuel kinda gets expensive too as I mix 2 stroke oil in the fuel as well.

lol yeah Mongas' head nearly hits the roof. Whats more good luck is trying to sit in the fruit bowl seats in the back with a 10cm distance from the front seats. lol.

I get just over 400km's to a tank. (76Litres). That's normal driving. When you make use of the TT you can watch the fuel gauge drop. I've been driving it pretty conservatively but due to being on double or nothing and my daily is out of order atm.

Thanks guys. Pal, I'm sure you'll see it a lot as I moved back to Rockingham today and it's my daily until I fix the R33 4 door. Don't suppose you have a spare AFM I could borrow buy any chance to check if that's what's wrong? I gave it a clean coz it was idling rough and stalling at low rpm after I put the stock ECU back in with contact cleaner. then I think it made it die completely.

Thanks, was a private sale. Last owner had it for 6 months but he has to bail over east. Was originally a Fabcar so it's in top knick. It's got a Nardi Torino wheel, turbo back exhaust and BOV. It's pretty damn quick but. It's sitting on Rays Gram Lights. I don't like them but so if anyone wants to buy them let me know. oh and a 7"eclipse deck with GPS that's only good for spitting cd's out and thats about it. lol. price, was good. lol.

Cheers. Don't be. Like anything it depends how you treat it. The oil is half the price, easier to service (4 spark plugs under the car without needing to pull things a part to get to it.) And it's actually better than my R33 on fuel (until I start giving it some top end runs because this thing just doesnt run out of puff. ). Sure it'll probably need a rebuild around 120,000. But hey, just an excuse to Bridgeport it. I always saw myself as a 34 GTR man but I fell in love with everything above plus the doors, race style interior/cockpit, and that sweet sweet rotor sound in the higher rev range. Thanks Mandy. haha yeah I'm a bit of a maintainence freak. Gave it a 1.5 hr clean & wax today and covered up all the swirls, and already started mixing 2 stroke in the fuel. It's definitely like learning cars all over again but.

Got a few pm's asking if I fell off the planet. Still here, and just picked this girl up last Sunday after Motorvation. '00 FD 13BTT. Not the most suitable car when you just start double or nothing but lol.

The standard of cars has been pretty good so no ones been knocked back yet to my knowledge. If your car is a rust bucket ( eg. my new R33 has a huge dent on the back, I'm not going to be entering) don't enter. I have an X-Box 360 Arcade in my room thanks to Harvey Norman Mandurah as one of the prizes, WCW with a set of rims, and other stores with some pretty sweet prizes.

Some big HP drag and show cars have been confirmed for this. most of the trophy winners of motorvation '09, and brocky's vl replica race car to name a few.
