  1. yeah not to mention i was expecting 3rd and 4th year to be a lot higher pay.
  2. Thanks for the reply man. Yeah well i turn 20 2moro, and I hear if ur over 21 you can get mature age apprenticeship which pays a lil bit better. But yeah even for 4th year that's lower than I expected. Hmm back to the drawing board lol.
  3. Website says April 3.
  4. Just wondering, coz i think it's time for a change in scenary for me. Anyone know starting wages for first year (probably peanuts), and potential wages as it progresses after first year? cheers.
  5. Hell yah man. Sweet pics. I remember spending about 1.5hours looking at the cars in the carpark when I went to watch the D1. The cars in the carpark put our show cars over here to shame lol. Hope the exchange rate didn't burn a hole in your pocket when you were over there, it did for me in November.
  6. Thanks for that, I'll add this R to the top of my list. Struggling to sell my car at the moment though so will get back to you when that's sorted.
  7. How is the interior in terms of scratches, seatwear etc? Also is this Arctic Silver/KV2 paint?
  8. more pix http://s529.photobucket.com/albums/dd334/c...rvation%202009/
  9. lol spoilt sport. Steve Jones' R34 R burnout. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=b4xoNM1MIss
  10. Nar he was a few cars behind me so I didn't get to see it. haha that fight. poors guys doing the burnouts, no one was paying attention to them when the fights were goin on. Some 40 year old threw a bottle at a 16 year old coz he was bein a smartass or somethin.
  11. 342Four, got you too. Very true. Because we are all close friends in our club who entered (although we are an open club), it was easier, mind you still stressful to organise everything and come to agreements on who's chipping in for things such as booze, marquee, bbq, gas, smoke machine/strobe lights, banners, tents, food & drinks, support vehicles to bring all this stuff in, support vehicle drivers, sorting out who needs to move their cars out the way so individual cars can attend their driving event. You need to do a lot of liasing with each other to get it all sorted and organised before and during the event, and I think if SAU was to do something like this, I'd imagine it to be really hard to pull off, not saying that it's not possible, just hard. Michael I'm sure you get what I mean. And here's a video of that bombed Cefiro dropping a burnout. That's Michael's V Spec N1 in front of me with a rooted ATESSA, 2wd action. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep2jjIo9CLA
  12. haha. You have no idea how many ppl we fooled.
  13. Reaper there are so many pros on Motorvation over Auto Salon I don't know where to begin. Actually showing your car off without it being static, camping, BYO, free dyno, driving events, all for $115 are the first things that come to mind. We had a 491hpatw R32 GTR, R33 Vspec N1, V-Spec 2 GTR, my GTT, Dani's 'angr33', Supra and an Autech Stagea that was the crowd pleaser. Also remember the standard for Motorvation is MUCH greater than that of Auto Salon. Props to Antilag for the quality imports visually and performance wise they had on show there. Look at the time and money put into those V8s and you can see why most of those get chosen over the imports that try to enter. It was a good weekend. Antilag party was nuts. Security stopping the supra from dropping a burnout, and everyone jumpin on security and pullin him off the car, then everyone fliipped the 4 wheeler security bike, pretty stupid but i admit i still laughed.. lol. Orange drift ceffy ripped the meanest burnout I've seen from an import ever. As always jap turbos were largly outnumbered. hopefully I have the R next Motorvation, it was a good weekend still. I was the guy wearing the I Luv white girls tee at antilag party if anyone was there. I bailed after the free tequila shots. Dug my own grave. Was a train wreck for Sunday. Accidently drove home without screwing my plates back on lol woops. Some pics from our stand.. last 2 are the best... those who were there know why.
  14. I'm still unsure. sigh.
  15. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809989992/video/11537903 not too impressed... but I'll still go see it.
  16. For a cruise to the beach you need to put parking availability in as a factor. May not be easily achieved.
  17. Dennis is a champ. Bit of a hoon though. jahah. Wishing I came, suprised no trouble with cops with that amount of cars.
  18. Def gota put a 32R front bar on it. mMMmM.
  19. spewin i couldn't make it. dont hav my car til 2moro hopefuly and was beyond hungover status to organise a lift. looked like a good day.
  20. between 250 and 290AU. http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/categorie...uges/DEFI/52mm/ (authorised aussie Defi reseller).
  21. You can get a fix rated secured loan through RAC. Skylines can be used as assets with RAC but you can't insure under them. (a bit stupid imo), but it worked for me. And they have quite good rates. I got mine at 9.75% december '07 because I paid $50 for RAC membership fee.
  22. Not having a go just saying in general... doesn't that defeat the purpose of having gauges in the first place lol.
  23. Also they don't usually pick up on the 'no right turns' etc. like dirty3 said go for a drive and make one yourself from experience, makes it that little bit more interesting.
  24. I'm interested but I'm not predicting my car to be sold till around June because I'm quite firm on the price. Will be keeping an eye on it..I'm off on holiday again in March but will be in touch after I'm back if it's still up for sale.
  25. is yours a secured or unsecured loan?
